I have been to India more than 10 times, but this was my first visit to Mumbai. Granted, much of India is hard to fathom if you haven't been there. The sights, smells and noise can be overwhelming. However, I'm not sure I've seen many things as bad a Juhu Beach. The place is absolutely filthy. There is trash up... More

lat time i checked on juhubeach it was not so crowded and dirty but this time m very irritated goig over there. It has changed from a serene clean beach to an overcrowded dirty beach strewn with rubbish by local tourists. There was hardly any space to move about.people should take responsibility to take care of the cleanliness.

when we say beach, we think swimming, water sports, sun bathing, natural beauty. this mumbai beach has none of these. parking your vehicle is a pain - when it's such a top visited point, why do they tow away vehicles, official parking is too small and too far. the water is no cleaner than gutters. the pic put up here... Visiting Juhu Beach after 45 years gave me a nauseating feel in one evenning. It has changed from a serene clean beach to an overcrowded dirty beach strewn with rubbish by local tourists. There was hardly any space to move about. There were equal numbers of hawkers and beggars pestering guests. Though there are numerous 5 stars hotels around Juhu... More

I would recommend people to visit the beach for a stroll, jog. Use the north end wihch is less crowded. Although housekeeping not upto the mark, but enjoy the sea and wind.

Not the typical beach that us Australians are used to. Quite dirty and not one I would recommend for swimming although the locals seem to enjoy it to the max. In the hinsite, its a great place for families to meet up and enjoy the rides and the local ice creams/food etc at nite..

Food is too costly. Before buying anything ask about the price. Otherwise they will charge you more. Lack of cleanliness. Too much crowded. No way you can enjoy the beauty of the beach. If want to find some peace of mind, then this place definitely is not for you. Only, the best part of Juhu is Gola. Try it. :)
