Powai is a heavy traffic area due to the connection available across the east to west of Mumbai city. In all the movement, the lake signifies the calm. In absence of spots where you can unwind peacefully; the lake is a a great place to spend some quite time. Beware there is no Parking available. Hence prefer a auto-rickshaw over... More

Today only I visited this place and this place is one of the worst place to visit on earth. There is nothing to see apart from couples hugging n kissing each other! And if u want to feed mosquitoes then go there n be tasty food for them! Don't visit simply!

Never seen a so huge quantity of garbage as like around the Powai Lake... it was famous as a pleasant place, located in the heart of the greenish natural reserve of the Maharashtra state, ideal for people looking for quiet and relax. Wrong! Today, this lake is sort of a trash bucket. And that's it. Why do I have to... More
