Today only I visited this place and this place is one of the worst place to visit on earth. There is nothing to see apart from couples hugging n kissing each other! And if u want to feed mosquitoes then go there n be tasty food for them! Don't visit simply!

Never seen a so huge quantity of garbage as like around the Powai Lake... it was famous as a pleasant place, located in the heart of the greenish natural reserve of the Maharashtra state, ideal for people looking for quiet and relax. Wrong! Today, this lake is sort of a trash bucket. And that's it. Why do I have to... More

Its a normal lake full of algae cover, mosquitoes and insects. There is no proper place to sit, eat or for having fun. Not worth a visit.

The view is astonishing but due to heavy traffic at evening, the place becomes quite noisy. Loads of pubs and restaurant are nearby so you can spend 4-5 hours easily.

After a year or so I was back at Powai Lake today with a friend as always it was very nice to have such an naturely experience in the mid of the city. Good place to enjoy the monsoon if u r in the central suburban areas of Mumbai.

Built be the British in the early 20th century. This lake supplies water to the overpopulated Mumbai and is inhabited by crocodiles. It is entertaining to watch the fishermen in their car tyre innertubes plying their trade.

This place is very calm with cool breeze under the shade of tree and enjoying the sights of birds in the lake water. It feels amazing to visit this place.
