This place is very calm with cool breeze under the shade of tree and enjoying the sights of birds in the lake water. It feels amazing to visit this place.

Located in the heart of the city, powai lake comes as a respite from the dust and pollution from the city. Once you cross Land T, you are greeted with a breath of fresh air from SGNP. The hiranandani gardens in the background and rennisance hotel, add to its charishma. Also there are quite a no of hangouts that have... More

Water near shore is covered with weeds ... so no water ripples or such beauty ... though beautification work has happened and there are areas to sit and relax, busy road on one side and weed ridden water in the lake doesnot make it a great visit

The lake is located in the midst of the city with good conectivity. The facilities for recreation are limited, however, it still attracts a number of visitors daily.

Nice place to jog in the evening or you may quietly sit and watch the lake view and eat the hot and spicy corn from the sellers..Place where many couples love to hang out..

The beautification process has just started around the lake. It is a favourite haunt for the locals in the evenings with everyone spending time around... just sitting, jogging or out with kids. You might also find couples out together. The scenic beauty of this place is amazing with hills in the back ground. I just love this lake.

Powai lake has the advantage of being at the edge of Sanjay Gandhi National Park hence the view from JVLR road looks like its a lake in a hill station. The walking/jogging area is awesome and doubles up as lovers point! Enjoy the place!

Much can be done on Powai lake when it comes to cleanliness but nothing has been done so far. the place is getting worse day by day with the water stinking though the areas near the lake do look quite clean, its the water of this lake that needs to be cleaned. Also there have been instances wherein people who... More
