The Museum as an amazing glassware collection. The museum shop has excellent staff who were very helpful. I bought 2 large books, they checked out postage costs to Australia and posted them for me, they arrived packed in bubble rap and undamaged. Thank you. More

Nice collection of ancient artifacts. Significant contributions by the Tatas in making the collection what it is today. Was specially impressed by the quality of the Ivory carvings kept - do check that section More

The building and gardens of this museum are beautiful and well worth the trip. The displays (at least the natural history part with stuffed animals) were acceptable but nothing exciting. A lot of stuff to look at without especially good or in-depth info. Wouldn't suggest paying to carry a camera or video...not worth it. More

This is a fabulous museum, and like all things in Mumbai - is quite compact - not grand or large like other museums I have visited. The exhibits are fantastic and the staff is quite friendly. This museum also has options of electronic audio Guides that one can hire for afee. I did not however use it. Not all sections... More

If this is the former "Prince of Wales museum" then it is worth a visit. The Tata family collection is excellent - there is some renovation work being done now but you can still see a good part of the collection. The sculptures in the lobby area are impressive, the miniature collection, the armor and weaponry, the Japanese and Chinese... More
