The building and gardens of this museum are beautiful and well worth the trip. The displays (at least the natural history part with stuffed animals) were acceptable but nothing exciting. A lot of stuff to look at without especially good or in-depth info. Wouldn't suggest paying to carry a camera or video...not worth it. More

If you take a video camera with you, you will be charged 1200rupees for the priveledge. And the museum is really net that interesting. More

If this is the former "Prince of Wales museum" then it is worth a visit. The Tata family collection is excellent - there is some renovation work being done now but you can still see a good part of the collection. This museum is huge and there are three floors to view them. Each floor will take approx 2 hours to view them. You will require one full day to view this museum.
