Marine city

It look entirely different from other Mumbai city everywhere we can smell the Indian Navy. Overall different experience to visit the place.

Colaba is a busy shopping district in Mumbai - be careful as these hawkers and shop keepers are the typical set of sharks who will get you if you accept first price. in the space of 10 minutes we were blessed by - someone - and for the dots and a wristband quite a fee was demanded and refused, then... This location of Mumbai is sure to give you a feel of colonial era and is one of the most posh localities of Mumbai which houses the famous Chote Miya and Bade Miya.

Everything at a steal price! And really good quality. Boutique stores have a lot of locally manufactured goods and roadside stores have very cheap but well made goods at bargaining prices. I'd say buy sandals, sunglasses, junk jewellery, Indian wear and gifting items from here.

Colaba is situated in southern part of Mumbai and a very happening place. The colaba causeway is the shopping hub where you get to see lot of street shops and branded items too!! It is situated in close proximity to Taj Hotel and Gateway of India. Worth a visit!
