Colaba may be called the 'real' Mumbai. At the southern end of this vast metropolis, it is one of the few parts of Mumbai that still retains it charm. This was Mumbais shopping district with all clothes hosiery shoes etc available in a 1 km stretch. The arrival of Linking road has reduced this place to a Tier 2 area frequented by crowds of low end tourists, street vendors, drug peddlars and hookers. Constant road repairs have not helped the cause. Mind your wallet
