On my first visit to Mumbai last year I thought of this link more as a necessity to cut out the traffic delays. However, when I took this on a Sunday despite traffic being non-existent, it is then that I really appreciated its beauty and felt proud to be an Indian which could also make such a world class structure,... Must go for first timers in Mumbai. Popular places of interest like Haji Ali are nearby. After sunset driving on this sea Link is a rare spectacle, with colored lighting the wire ropes give an amazing view.

A must visit if you really want to see what Mumbai is about. Not just the experience of being on the sea and the beauty with which the link has been made, but the whole view of Mumbai as a city is amazing. Makes you feel that you are at an international city.

The last time I did the stretch between the airport and South Mumbai was via the congested Sion etc.It used to be a painfull journey through congested roads.I have heard how the Bandra Worli sea link has consigned journey through this unattractive ride to history. So time when I was in Mumbai for a few hours I decided to do the... A nice engineering marvel and above all - easily reduces by half or even more the travelling time from Worli to Bandra. But I always take visitors from other parts of India on the sea-link just for a joyride. It is clean and you could be in any part of the world. The toll booths are quick and efficient, just... More

When the Bandra-Worli Sea Link was opened some years ago it created a stir not only because of its convenience of commuting but also the architectural statement it made in the city of Mumbai. People are now waiting with bated breath for the announcement of its extension upto Haji Ali but it looks like that will have to wait. Lately... More

For visitors to Mumbai a drive over the Arabian sea is a beautiful experience. The Sea Link, a breathtakingly beautiful bridge made of cable and concrete, seen from afar gives the impression of a suspended ship like structure! Seeing it on a misty day makes it look all the more charming and mystic! An architectural marvel and a boon for... More
