If you are in the Juu side area of town, a visit to this temple is a must. Daily rituals and aartis are well planned. Thousands of visitors come to offer their prayers. During Janmasthmi the temple is very well decorated with flowers and lights

We were asked to take off our footwear ....always best to have a spare pair of socks with you ..... and we were free to wander up the beautifully carved stairway, past the ladies who spent their day making beautiful floral garlands and into the main part... The temple complex as such is huge with the temple, lawns, accommodation complex, banquet hall, etc... Not sure of parking, we couldnt get parking in the temple (as there was some festivity there)..leave ur footwear at any of the free collection centres just by the entrance gate... The temple by itself is pristine with beaming idols and cooling interiors..there is... More

Pure bliss! This temple is one place you can always get some peace of mind in the busy mumbai life. The idols are beautiful and the atmosphere is mesmerising when Bhakti is going on. For members you also get concessional fares for stay and they have the Govindas restaurant and a bakery in the premises where awesome food is served.
