This is one of the most famous temples in Mumbai. You will find 3 goddesses inside the temple Lakshmi, Kali & Saraswathi. Navarathri celebrations are done in a grand maneuver. It was little confusing to find the temple entrance. It is said that if you offer lotus flowers to the god your wishes are granted.

A great treat and attraction for Darshan. Youngsters and adults alike all flock to the Temple for blessings of Lakshmidevi. And, then .... to tasty Bhajiyas and Vadas behind the Temple.

Loved this temple, located right on the edge of the sea. I found it a deeply spiritual experience (although I'm not religious) to be in the inner sanctum, with an edge given by the push and pull of the crowds. Watch out for the sole-burning tiled floor in the sunshine (in June) after taking off your shoes.
