The Mahalakshmi Temple is a real landmark in Mumbai and it is a temple one must visit. If one goes in the morning try to get there before the Darshan. You can go upto the idols in the sanctum santorum and pray. The idols are really beautiful.

The Mahalaxmi temple is a very old temple built on the shore. It can be really crowded at times. Once you have visited the temple, you must go behind it where there are two more temples accessible via stairs behind the main temple. It gives you a clear view of the Haji Ali Dargah too.

We visited the temple during noon, the temple was not crowded and were able to pray peacefully. We also visited Dhakleshwar Temple which is adjacent to mahalakshmi temple.

This is another popular temple in South Mumbai of goddess Lakshmi. On the backside of temple you would get a nice seaview. Quite crowded during navratri's.

Its a temple of Mahalaxmi Devi - a Hindu goddess of strength and wealth. Its always a tourist destination for the visit and has idols of Mahalaxmi. It was very near to USA Ambassy.
