LIKED: cleanliness inside the temple area. Disliked: the immediate dirty wrappers, empty sweet boxes, garlands, flowers, coconut shells.... all littered around and thrown into the sea. The management of the temple is aware and can be made aware again n again to keep the area all over clean... the local restaurants who serve the bhajiyas... who one n all enjoy... More

The approach to the temple is congested and meandering. Again, you need to deposit your footwear pretty far away and then walk barefoot. So choose your footwear appropriately. Security is tight, so best not to carry anything at all. Must do the parikrama after your darshan. Take a few minutes to look at the sea on the right of the... More

I have had many unhurried visits with lots of time to introspect and have a conversation with God and... More

Though this temple is very old.. the heritage structure has lost its essence (apart from just the temple) due to encroachment and construction by the temple trust.. the temple gives you calm mind like any other temple.. the cleanliness is very poor especially toward the end of the temple with no proper disposable/garbage bins available.. people end up throwing the... This temple is located near Haji Ali dargah, Worli, Mumbai. This temple is near sea shore of Mumbai. Here the devotees are coming to take the darshan of Godess Lakshmi. During Hindu festival Diwali, lot of people are coming to take darshan from far away places
