The Mahalakshmi temple in Mumbai has it's own charm. It is located in one of the posh locality. The backyard of the temple gives you a unique feeling. The cool sea breeze and the unending sea view makes it more special. The temple management is very well efficient to maintain it's cleanliness.Avoid going in weekends as it's very rush.

I visited here with my family, the place was like a regular hindu temple but the backyard of the temple is awesome from where you can also see the Hazi Ali Mosque and a beautiful view of the sea...on a cloudy day you won't want to leave this place...

We visited this temple a couple of days ago. A bit of walk from the main road and climbing also involved. Walking on a hot day without foot wear proved to be bit difficult. If you are visiting in Summer, suggest make it early hours of the day.
