Im was om the Bandra tour today and I loved it! First of all I was the only one on the tour and the tour took place nevertheless. Got great cultural, historical backgrounds. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and kind. The route and Bandra itself is nice, a hipp, old, peaceful area with lots of old buildings. The tour ends... More

To tell you the truth, I had no idea what the Raconteur walks of Mumbai would be like. In a strange way, I was almost dreading the experience. Why? I hear you ask. Well, it's because Mumbai means so very much to me that I was anxious that one of my old loves would be presented in a way that... More

... except the Bandra one (currently living in Bombay) and they have all been excellent. Well researched tours, friendly, eloquent, interesting guides. Each tour takes in a different period/geography of the city.

I took a walk around fort and it was a great experience. Raconteurs were friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Mumbai. Being in Mumbai for last 3 years, I had visited almost all the places earlier, however the glorious history of monuments like Asiatic Library, for example, was completely new and amusing. The anecdotes were intriguing and pictures/paintings... More

Very accommodating and very informative. We wanted to see the dhabawallahs so the guide specially started the tour a little earlier so that we will be at Churchgate at 11.30 to start witnessing the incredible dhabawallahs. The guide was very informative and friendly. I highly recommend this walk to anyone new to Mumbai.

Loved the experience. It's something i would recommend people to try- tourists and Mumbai-ites alike. Wonderful concept- the city needs something like this.

I realised that I hardly knew the city that has been home for over 5 years now.So decided to make an effort to get acquainted with the city's history. Avrosh was a great "raconteur".Lots of history, anecdotes and snippets. The Bazaar tour walk started at the Asiatic library and ended at VT via Crawford Market .Was definitely engrossing including the 'cutting chai'...
