I thoroughly enjoyed the two walking tours we did in Mumbai with Raconteur. Our guides on both walks were young, enthusiastic and helpful... they made an attempt to answer all our questions. These are longish walks, along often awkward footpaths with lots of uneven surfaces and impediments... walking through cities in India is never easy, or for the faint hearted.... More

I participated in the Churchgate and heritage Mile walk this January and wanted to take an opportunity to thank Raconteur for the fantastic service. I decided late at night the night previous to taking the tour that I wanted to go and Dhiraj from Raconteur was super helpful and helped me sort everything out with very short notice and at... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour -- the Heritage Walk. Our guide, Nimish was lovely and knowledgeable and we learned a lot we would not otherwise have had a chance to discover. We also added on at the end a visit to the dabbawallahs. But if we had known, we could have done it ourselves without paying extra as it... More

We did the churchgate and heritage mile walk and it was wonderful! Firstly Raconteur Walks coordination before the walk tour has been great since the walk was set up for us at the last minute. Throughout the tour, the guide from Raconteur walks made sure that everything was explained from architecture and history to trivia's and beofre-after scenario's of the... More

An interesting and engaging conversation on why Fort is called Fort, Bombay's legacy and its historical gems.

I went for the Bandra queen of suburbs walk and it exceeded my expectations. Even if you have been to Bandra, a 100 times these guys will show you the hidden facts and little gems of history tucked in all the nooks and corners. I totally recommend it for the tourist or local who wants to experience something unique.

I took the heritage mile walk and my raconteur Nimish provided me an absolutely delightful tour about the historical significance of South Mumbai and its structures. The walk enlightened me with nuggets of information packaged with interesting anecdotes from the pages of history. Loved it.

We did walking tour with Raconteur Walks in south Mumbai. In all we were 12 people, including 5 children. I think the guide did a great job. Young and enthusiastic. He also connected well with the children.

When you travel to somewhere like Mumbai you don't wish to be that tourist on the outside looking in. Despite the (perceived?!) chaos, this beautifully hectic city and its people are generally very good natured and welcoming. If you feel in any way cautious about getting out onto the streets and best market places you're Raconteur companion is a true... More

This was an amazing walk. After the tour, I can say now that I know about Mumbai more than my friends around (i.e. till they take this tour) and more than I ever knew in these 28 years here. This walk is not only recommended for all tourists but also highly recommended for all mumbai-iets too.
