This started as a trust to promote science awareness among school children.But Govt museum department made it a typical Babudom ran science educational device. true to the funding requirements driven psyche the displays are sqewed to petro-chemicals nuclear and other areas of interest to the agencies in government or private enterprises in India. NSC is good for children as it is very educative. Even elders can enjoy a visit to Nehru Science Centre.

I have always been amazed with such places and greatly thankful that one such place exists in Mumbai. had been here years ago as a child from school and I am glad to know that still this place has grown and developed to its best for the youngsters

Not maintained properly, huge but old science,nothing is new,going there its fell that we are still in 1950.Our rockets are on mars mission but not our science center.

This is old and Govt maintained , still offers lot of brick learning for kids particularly for pre/primary groups . From basic mechanics , aero dyanamics, space and many ! Check your weight in Mars !

the science center in Mumbai is big and has lots of different exhibits and hands on activities but the stuff is and looks old and a lot of the displays don't work. It has the feel of a science center that's gone off in a corner to die. My 4 year old loves it even if 1/2 of the stuff... More

I wonder why this place is not very famous.Though it's infrastructure is in a deteriorating phase,some of the demonstrations are so interesting that kids surely get surprised.the entry charges r very nominal(₹40only).Apart from it,there's a fee of ₹25 for a 3D science show n ₹75 for a 45 min show in their auditorium.If u want ur child to be enrolled...
