I have always been amazed with such places and greatly thankful that one such place exists in Mumbai. had been here years ago as a child from school and I am glad to know that still this place has grown and developed to its best for the youngsters

Not maintained properly, huge but old science,nothing is new,going there its fell that we are still in 1950.Our rockets are on mars mission but not our science center.

This is old and Govt maintained , still offers lot of brick learning for kids particularly for pre/primary groups . From basic mechanics , aero dyanamics, space and many ! Check your weight in Mars !

the science center in Mumbai is big and has lots of different exhibits and hands on activities but the stuff is and looks old and a lot of the displays don't work. It has the feel of a science center that's gone off in a corner to die. My 4 year old loves it even if 1/2 of the stuff... More

I wonder why this place is not very famous.Though it's infrastructure is in a deteriorating phase,some of the demonstrations are so interesting that kids surely get surprised.the entry charges r very nominal(₹40only).Apart from it,there's a fee of ₹25 for a 3D science show n ₹75 for a 45 min show in their auditorium.If u want ur child to be enrolled... its a perfect weekend destination for the entire family including all age group, the planetorium shows are fantastic and informative, remember to prefer the language show which shall help you understand better, nominal ticket charges , inside the planetorim building also there is lot of information to explore and spend time in understading about our galaxy, however before te show... Nehru centre has a world class planetarium with 4 daily shows out of which only 1 is in English, at 3 pm. The show is informative. We saw one titled Violent Universe. Nehru Science Centre is located in Worli area of Mumbai and near to Mahalakshmi temple. The parent organization of Nehru Science Centre in Mumbai is NCSM-National Council of Science Museums. Excellent immerse experience. The film is good and enjoyed to fullest extent. The centre also has beautiful galleries and hands on exhibits for everyone to explore the science.The children Science Gallery is a must see attraction as it house 3d theater as wel. The science demonstrations in the centre are amazing and really brings your college memories back.
