I am visiting this zoo after 30 years and was very pleasantly surprised at the way it is being maintained. It gave me a feeling that I was in a wild life sanctuary because I was here right from Masinagudi!! The animals are well fed because they are looking pretty healthy. You will never get a feeling you are in... More

Very good zoo in the middle of the city. Lots of animals, good maintenance, good amenities. You can enjoy with kids and family. Good place for weekend, although bit crowded.

Although zoos are not the right way to keep animals, the Mysore zoo is an amazing place to see animals from all over the world.

Well Mysore zoo the most healthiest animals ,birds, scavengers. You need good walking shoes to cover the entire estate by foot. Word of advice: Book a seat at the entrance in the Forest Rides that the zoo has to offer. That way you can cover the entire zoo!

I really did not expect this zoo to be as well managed as it is. Not just that, it is very clean and tourist friendly. It beats out most zoos in India in both diversity as well as organization. This is a large zoo. For the abysmally low entry fee it charges, I would rate is higher than zoos even... More

Great to see all the animals, birds & also wild animals, but only few wild animals we can able to see, thats little sad & if we can able to see more wild animals means that will be really great to see...

I loved that the zoo was clean, well-maintained and that the enclosures were large and imitated the natural ecosystem of the animals. There are interesting trivia on the animals and the animals look healthy. The battery operated vehicle at 125/person is reasonable and a boon for elderly people like my mum, who has difficulty in walking.
