This is excellent. I could rate this as one of the best in India. The zoo is pretty big & well structured. The roads within take us such that we don't miss anything. Great collection of birds & animals... Entry fee is Rs.50 & there is an extra charge of Rs.5 to keep the baggage in the cloak room. It... More

Inside it is a breeze. You enjoy the well kept zoo and it's a great education. Outside its hard, chaotic, parking, crowded lines etc. This time we took the Electric Buggy since we were with the small kid. It was better than taking 2 hours to do the entire stretch walking Go for it. It is crowded but have a... More

One of best zoo and worth the visit. All animals are well fed and very neatly kept zoo. Avoid the bugee and walking preferred as just 3 KM walk as the bugge does not cover all the animals

It is the first zoo I have seen where there was no animal stink anywhere. All the animals looked healthy and cages were very well maintained.

This is one of best zoos we have visited. I live close to Vandalur Zoo in chennai. The area was well maintained and my 2 year old kid was enjoying the walk and watching the birds and monkeys. There was a huge line for the battery vehicles and we opted to walk. It was 4 PM and managed to complete... More

Out of the several zoos I have visited across India, this would be my favorite. Plenty of animals, VERY neatly maintained and thoroughly professional staff would be the highlights. The zoo is very well maintained and is spread over a large area. Total walking distance would be around 3 km and you can expect all possible kinds of animals here.... More

This is one of the best zoo i've ever seen. Well maintained zoo. As soon as you enter, you can see the giraffe. Entire park is plastic free zone. They also have electric vechile which can be hired to avoid walking. Overall it will take 2 hours to walk thorough the zoo.

Mysore zoo is known to be the best zoo in India. If you have visited many zoo's around the world then you may not feel this as very great but, compared to may Indian zoos, Mysore is very well maintained and profitable thanks to its management. Its vastand cater to large crowds every day. Luckily, there is online ticket reservation... More
