This is possibly the best zoo I have seen, the campus is very clean and well laid out. The best part are the Animals here, they are really well taken care of. You can understand that care with which they are kept by looking at them. One reason is also the fact that most of the animals here are adopted... More

It is a must watch if you are visiting Mysore as it is difficult to find so many species of animals otherwise

Its a huuuuge zoo and its very well stocked with a variety of animals & birds. Its a bit overwhelming to see birds and animals caged, but to their relief they have been given as natural environment as possible and larger open space compared to any other zoo I have visited. Its well planned too so you do not miss... More

The tigers and lions look healthy and that tells the health of the zoo - very well maintained. The birds and apes sections are worth... More

Visited mysore zoo after nearly 5 years, I was plesantly surprised to see some positive changes, this was against my perception that government- run entities dont put their earnings back for maintenance! Firstly, the track is heavily optimized so there is no confusion or missing out on anything, to acheive this they have shifted and reorganized and moved animal enclosures... More
