The temple is really well built. Crowds are decent. You will enjoy the road to the temple too. There is parking but the walk from there to the temple may be long for some.

Nothing as such is there for a traveler other than the view from the Chamundi Hills. This temple is same as any running South Indian temple. Though the view of Mysore city from some parts of the hilly road is really good.

We visited this temple located on the Chamundi Hills on last week of Aug and there was no crowd and we had good darshan of Chamundeswari. this is one of the famous Durga/Shakthi temples in India.Must visit when you are in Mysore Temple is closed between 2 to 4pm

The temple complex has a host of other activities like the flee market kind spread across the stretch, food carts all along the way to the temple offer you a little tasty small snacks which is just good to fill you temporarily..
