Nice place to drive up to with scintillating views of Mysore city. Make sure you visit the huge Nandi temple too (similar to the Bull temple in Bengaluru) while you are descending the hill.

This temple is on the hill top and a must in itinerary of mysore. The view from hill top is excellent . its better to inquiry about the timing as it was closed when we visited. There r lot of shops near it which the ladies would love shopping

Goddess Chamundeshwari is the 'aradhya' devi of the Mysore Maharaja's family. The temple is on top of a hill, the road is well maintained. Definitely worth visiting if you are visiting Mysore.

As there are not many things to do in Mysore before 10 am, I had the bizarre idea to climb this hill, being neither particularly young nor athletic. I never regretted the decision. The top of the hill offers spectacular views over the city, surrounding plains and the market has a beautiful atmosphere. There were thousands of people queuing to... More

The temple on the hill top where according to mythology Devi Durga slain Mahisura demon. The temple is not that impressive but it worth visit for religious purposes. Do visit the huge Nandi idol and giant Mahisura idol en-route.

Not very tidy. Pretty small and crowded all the time. Although the view from the top of the hill outside of the entire city is worth a visit.

Temple art is the main attraction. Travel to the temple hill is enjoyable. We can see the whole Mysore city while siting in the vehicle. Even walkers can do that to reach the top of the hill.
