Its a good place for a short visit. You can drive right upto the temple and the approach roads are well maintained. For those who like walking can take a small walk till the Nandi and back.

Evening visit will make you enjoy the chill weather on the hillock. Find out the timings of the temple. THe temple opens after 6.30 pm. I think. Unusual for a Hindu temple.

This temple is over crowded & opened for all over the day time. Very nice to see big nandhi on the way to this temple. One of the best tourist attractions in Mysore.

Temple was excellent can see the entire city from the hill top. Takes less than an hour to climb and what a great place to be in. Really want to go on navarathri and enjoy the peace away from Bangalore traffic

Way to temple is amazing and we can see a picturesque view of Mysore city from this hill. There is a Nandi statue in this hill. The temple is in this hill. The area is calm and quiet.

This place is quite interesting if you are on the way to Mysore, very or building within a fortified city, just be aware that as usual no pictures are allowed inside and if you are a western you will not find any western toilets anywhere close so be prepared.
