I was very impressed with the Bonsai Garden and the new bird sanctuary, housing hundreds of varieties of parrot. Worth a visit even if you are not into the Ashram itself. I loved the whole atmosphere and the carving are made on site. The Muesium is closed whilst refurbishment takes place. Peace, beauty and tranquility in Mysore.

It's a wonderful place having a temple, meditation hall, garden, park, birds, book stall, a hall dedicated for Music and botanical garden too. Was never able to meet the Swamiji, but always felt blessed at this place.

The Universal Prayer Hall is really peaceful and cool. The Dattatreya temple is in this hall. As mentioned by other reviewers, there are lots of other places to visit in this amazing ashram.
