This is a very beautiful church but it can take you 15 mins or more to visit depending if you like to stay longer. Its decor is interesting - mix of old and super modern (specially the altars). There is a subterranean level with an altar and some crypts.

It is the second largest church in India. So huge that it dwarfs you. The exterior is very beautiful. The interiors are plain simple. Its one of the main attractions of mysore

Billed as a massive church.. There are a huge number uk parish churches that would knock this for 6. It's quite - well actually very tacky. Of course it's a very important emblem for them, but don't go out of your way.

A grandiose cathedral, it is a challenge for a photographer to get it all in. I was visiting after some time and was surprised to see a couple of statues (that of Joseph and St. Philomena) in the front of the church. this has been added recently - so the church is also evolving and there is something new everytime... The church is well kept and peaceful. One can spend sometime also in the prayer area behind the actual church. We lit some candles near the prayer area.
