MYcycle.... guided cycle tours of Mysore and Srirangapatnam Island. See the wonderful heritage city and its diverse communities or the culture and history of this beautiful island. We are also Mysore Bed and Breakfast (also listed on Trip Advisor) as our guests usually do their reviews there. You can also now bring children on our Srirangaptnam tour as we have a child's seat, tag-a-long and children's cycles. Please note: we do not offer cycle hire only guided cycle tours. Its best to book in advance to reserve your place. We're part of Manjula's Mysore and also provide homely accommodation through Mysore Bed and Breakfast and a hassle free auto rickshaw with our very own vehicle driven by Vasanth.

Srirangapatnam Cycle Tour was one of the highlights of my recent trip to India. Stephen really 'makes' this tour - he was super friendly and knowledgeable throughout; he has great relationships with everyone we met on our tour stops (fresh coconut, chai and jaggery to name a few) and tells you the interesting history and culture of the area and... If you want to get a true experience of Mysore do this trip. We went with Steve as a family and found him entertaining, engaging and knowledgeable. It covered a really interesting area and was multi facited. The cycling wasn't arduos just totally enjoyable.

A friend and I did a bike tour with Steve around Srirangapatnam, and I loved every moment of it! Everything was incredibly well organized: Steve emailed us detailed instructions of where to meet him, and was there waiting for us when we arrived (early in the morning!) with bikes in good condition and water for each of us. The tour... More

Staying at Mysore B&B and taking a morning biketour with Steve as guide is clearly the best activity we did on our Indian roundtrip (just after Bollywood dance lessons...) A perfect way to experience the people, town, landscape and with Steve as guide never a doll moment!

We did a cycle tour of the Sirangapatna Island. The description touted a very spiritual place for locals and southern Indians. My wife and I had only 2 weeks in India, but we traveled much of Southern India. From observation, we would say this was resoundingly true. Our ride encompassed the military, political, and religious history of the island along... More

I booked in for a half day cycle tour through Srirangapatna's "island" area. Steve, our host, organised the whole thing including my rickshaw ride from my hotel in Mysore. We had a group of 5; good size for this type of thing. We cycled about 15kms in total and stopped occasionally to check out a temple or a village or... More

This cycle tour could be subtitled, "A Yorkshireman's guide to Shrirangapatna" because it's all about the humour and personality of Stephen Farrell, who runs the tour. He knows an awful lot about India but wears his knowledge lightly. Other reviews have described the features of the tour better than I could, but all you really need to know is that... More

I did the Srirangaptnam tour on the 13th of November with my friend Pat. We enjoyed it a lot. The tour offers a mix of culture, history and amazing sceneries. Stephen is a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and with that "so british" sense of humor. It was a lovely day away from the noise and traffic of Mysore. I highly... More

Visited Bangalore for the third time (for work purposes) and finally found a trip which showed me the other side of India. Stephen is a really good story teller and showed us both nature and culture, history and modernity. Stephen brought us to places where we would never come with the car. It was absolutely perfect! Although the trip takes... More
