Himvad Gopalaswamy Betta is beautiful temple. It also very near to Bandipur National Park. If you reach before 9am, you can see the hillock covered in fog adding to the beauty of the place and give it a spiritual atmosphere. When we climb up the hill the roads are in pathetic condition , it will take at least 40 to... More

25 kms away from Bandipur, this temple is a must visit. The roads are in poor condition and also narrow. Exercise caution but don't miss. I have been to this temple even in December ... and onething that is common seems to be the clouds kissing the hills...

Scenic and winding approach road leading up a hill on the top of which lies this very simple yet artistic temple! The temple seems pretty old and the staff too seemed very devotee friendly. The views of nature surrounding this place from the hill are just breathtaking and a photographer's delight!

This temple is a spectacular place. It is on top of a hill. Access is not easy but yields great views. You can see for miles around well into Tamil Nadu.

Situated 90 Km south of Mysore is this little Heaven. Such greenery, such calmness, occasional visit of Citizens of the forest (Elephants, dears etc) what more can you expect. I have been there 5-6 times and every single time is a painting in my memory. Recently the hiking on the hills have been closed to protect the forests and to... More

This temple is located around 100 kms from Mysore on Mysore - Bandipur Road. You need to take a 10 km deviation from the Bandipur Road, about 20 kms from Bandipur to reach this beautiful location. The temple is located on a hill top where cool breeze keeps blowing all the time. The view from the temple is amazing. You... More
