This seven hundred year old temple situated very close to Bandipur National Park. Whenever you are going to Bandipur or Ooty Via Mysore ( from Bangalore ) or Gundalpet ( from Kerala ) this place is an extra asset to your trip. This is situated in a beautiful hill near Bandipur National Park. I am not much aware about the... More

I have visited this place twice. I am in awe of the nature around the temple. Uphill road to the temple is very calm, quite. You can enjoy tranquility at its best. After driving for around 20 to 25 minutes from base near bandipur, you reach the hilltop and you are welcomed with windy atmosphere. Feels like heaven. Generally you... More

It is the most beautiful drive and one I plan on taking again and again from Mysore. This time returning I was engaged... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the drive uphill to the temple complex through calm, green and rugged terrain. Very tranquil place and makes for good photo-ops.

There was a small fee to get into the area. There might be a fertility aspect to this temple as I have read on other sites. I saw a lot of... More
