This is an awesome place atop theGopalswamy hill which is inside the bandipur reserve forests. It is very close to the point of intersection of Kerala- Karnataka-Tamil nadu. It was nice to visit this place about 70 kms from mysore, it was nice feeling to drive the car in the steepy road of this hills

The one thing that comes to my mind when I think about this place is the place being fully covered with mist . It's a hill where you can find gopalswamy temple on this Hill. It is believed that snow falls on the God inside the temple. wonderful idol of the lord. captivating.Approach roads need to be improved,, travellers has to follow the rules and regulations, time limit has been framed for the travellers. This place is around 1.30 mins drive from mysore. Around 30mins drive from Gundulpet. It's a hill where you can find gopalswamy temple on this Hill. Feel the clouds once you start ascending the hills, Since the Hills are under the control of Forest department , travellers has to follow the rules and regulations, time limit has been framed for the travellers. Elephants and other animals can be seen if you are lucky..!!

We visited Gopalaswamy betta on 11-Jan-2015. Though we planned to be there by 8:30 AM, we reached at 9:30 AM. We stayed in a surprisingly good hotel Misty Rock in Gundlupet.
