Thoroughly enjoyed the drive uphill to the temple complex through calm, green and rugged terrain. Very tranquil place and makes for good photo-ops.

The drive from Mysore was beautiful. The nature aspect almost feels like Jurrasic Park. Ancient, quiet, peaceful. The quiet on part of the trails was deafening. No plastics allowed. There was a small fee to get into the area. There might be a fertility aspect to this temple as I have read on other sites. I saw a lot of... More

Best place to visit wen come to Mysore. It's 70 Kms from Mysore. Have to visit this place in the morning means have to leave early in the morning or at least by 8 am so that we can reach there by 2 hrs. A junction is there where they will check the bags and any plastic items. At the... More

The place is scenic and beautiful, worth visiting once. You can only go to the temple and watch the sceneic view from there and that's it, no provision for even a short trek and understandably so because, it has high wild elephants concentration. At the foot of this hill, the forest department people charge Rs 50 per vehicle and I... More

The location is too good which is covered by clouds due to it's altitude. Temple is neat, clean & beautiful. It was chilled & raining when we visited. It's just a temple & no other facilities like hotels, restaurants nearby.

Get ready to get wet when you arrive at this place. It is on the way to bandipur. The temple is very old and you will really feel good here. The place is a bit crowd y. The state run buses will irritate you while driving.

A very good to place to visit for enjoying in nature.. The visit timings to the temple and Hill from 8 AM to 4 PM as it is a restricted area. Though you enjoy the Fog early in the morning, it is a very cool place. We could spot few Deers and Foxes when we visited. Arounnd 90 kms from... More
