Went there at 7p.m. on a Friday to watch the Musical/Dancing fountain. Seating was for about 200 persons, but there were more than 1000 boisterous school children on an excursion. The show started promptly with a song from a Sandalwood super hit (Rajkumar at his best !!), followed by a popular Bollywood number and two patriotic songs. The children sang... More

We reached Brindavan Garden in the evening to see the so called famous musical fountains & suffice to say that it was a damp squib. Garden itself isn't maintained well. No special lighting to speak off & unruly crowds with plenty of hawkers around. Best avoided. Beware of touts as well.

As seen in post cards n on net, they didn't started musical fountain lights so we get little disappointed. 15/- entry charge for adults. If ypu are in mysuru then visit once but only in evening between 7:00pm to 8:00pm as only during this time you will see some lights in water fountain

Initially everyone visits left wing but the light and sound show is at right wing. We had a small baby with... More

It is better to visit it on a week end as the lighting is supposed to be full only then. Pretty crowded. Many places bulbs have to be replaced. Also be ready to walk some distance within the Dam.
