On weekends and holiday season it is very crowdy. During a busy period reaching this place will take 1 hour from Mysore city. Over the years it has lost its glory and badly needs overhaul. Once you site in the garden hawkers selling peanuts, snacks, tea coffee will hover you around. Sad part is visitors leave so much on trash... More

First and foremost with ongoing road repair work the access to the garden is very difficult. Since so much has been spoken about the beauty of garden, one is tempted to make a visit but believe me the garden is fast loosing it's charm. The place is clean but not enough work is being done to beautify the place or... More

Though its a must see in Mysore, its losingits sheen. Bad routes and crappy staff furthermore, get there before the water shows start and get your seats sorted out well in advance. WE went a little bit late so couldn't do the entire tour. try going on the boat to the main centre rather than walking - there might be... More

This was the second time I had visited Brindavan gardens... However the place requires a better maintanance and the light and music show at the end of the day needs some serious music make over. The staff who decided the music still seemed to live in older days...

Whilst in Mysore for 24 hours we decided to drive out on a weekend evening to see the Son et Lumiere show at the Brindavan Gardens, set way outside (about 50 minutes drive) of Mysore on the edge of the KRS Dam. There are several shows at 30 minute intervals from 7pm until 9pm, each show lasts about 15 minutes.... More

A well known garden, currently requires maintenance. Enjoy a boat ride and dont miss the musical fountain. A nice place for family outing.

Eventhough I am not new to Mysore, every time I visit, Vrindavan Garden was never omitted from our list. Likewise this time too we visited Mysore Vrindavan Gardens, We were quite disappointed with the state of affairs of the approach roads from Mysore as well as the garden itself The staff were more worried about tourists cameras than the gardens... Its a beautiful place to visit. But I feel authority has done very less in its maintainance. I visited the place for the first time in 1996. Recently I had visited on 14th of Feb 2015. I can seen the degradation due to lack of maintainance.

We had gone to see Brindavan gardens with a lot of expectations. It is around 30 minutes drive from Mysore to Bangalore. On reaching there we found that no development has taken place in the last 25 years since we last visited it. It is dirty and few travellers are there. It is a must avoid.

I went there for the musical fountain show, I wasn't really impressed specially it was almost over crowded. However I liked most the garden, it is very well maintain, nice lake inside and beautiful place to walk and relax.
