Brindavan gardens is one of India's earliest big park of India, with a musical fountain. Over the time quality has deteriorated and management is the worst. Unless you are bent on it, I'd skip this place.

We spent the day driving to Mysore, so this was a welcome stop after being in the car for a while. The gardens were very pretty and relaxing to walk through. Although I'm always disappointed that these potentially pretty spots in India have trash piles in and around them. We were here in the daytime and I can imagine how... More

There are a good Volvo services from Mysore bus stand to Brindavan Garden. It takes around 1 hr. to reach. By the time we reached, it was a dark. There was a huge crowd... More

We got the 303 bus from Mysore out to the gardens and spent the day more or less strolling sitting in the sun and then in the shade .The fountains were on and it gave a very Italian garden atmosphere .We watched a family of monkeys pinching someone's juice cartons .We wandered up to the Big Hotel at the top... We visited Brindavan Garden in Day time, night because of crowd not possible. Normal week days are better for evening view. Beautiful landscapes, fountains of many types. Near Raja Sagar Dam. Good place for family outings. Must see place in Mysore.

Its a must visit if you are in Mysore. Lush green and its amazing and colorful. In evenings, you have the musical fountain and the light show. Its pretty nice if you are visiting with kids. Good entertainment for them for sure.

Total waste of time. The gardens at my IT office park are more lush and beautiful. This garden is in disrepair, dried out, and trash was everywhere. Gross.
