We have very few gardens of such large scale & thanks to then government/authorities to plan & build such huge gardens which used to featured in every south movie duet song. But because of its bad maintenance & overcrowded its loosing its charm it deserves. When in Mysore its a must visit, but don't have high expectations and you may... More

A well maintained place which tends to be over crowded especially during a weekend evening. The musical fountain is highly over rated but the garden as such is beautiful to walk around especially in the morning before the crowds come in (which helped since we stayed inside the gardens).

for us it was crowded but yet well maintained. though most of the things can now be seen at various places but its importance of initial such garden is still there.

On a trip to Mysore we also deviated to visit Brindavan Garden, the trip from Mysore was over one hour so my expectations were very high, I was very disapointed to find out this is a place that is not at all exceptional, the dancing fountains are those found in any western park, the garden is nothing out of this...
