We visited this garden at the end of the day of our Mysore trip. There are beautiful fountains which plays water to the tunes and songs. We felt very good by listening to songs being played. The attraction is flaunted by tourists and there is huge rush in the garden. We could eat reasonably priced Samosa prepared in north INdian... More

It’s located just level below the Krishnarajasagara dam which is built across the river Kaveri. The design of the garden will give you an impression of Mughal patterns with garden path and fountains. On the South bank there is a pavilion where you can enjoy the breath-taking view of the garden, playing of the children and in evening the spectacular... More

This is my second visit, the first was over 20 years ago. Sadly dissapointed, massive crowds, more people than gardens. And equal number of trash etc. Its not well maintained at all - for all the hype its become just another garden. Its better to just stay where ever you are and visit a garden near by (even if it... The dancing waters were cute, but if you've been to Barcelona's Magic Fountains it's a bit disappointing. The best part was sharing the experience with Indians and seeing how much they enjoyed and cheered it.

Add to your list.. Must Visit. Kids will love this place. For single travellers like me, the place will bring inner harmony if visited at the right time. Place is crowded on weekends. 30 mins drive from Mysore city, you will feel great. The place can be anyway better maintained.

This is an amazingly well maintained prestigious garden of Karnataka Government. Its luscious green and flowing water with stepped falls is a site to watch. Many movies are filmed here due to its scenic beauty. A must visit gardens amongst the finest in India.

We went in the evening to see the musical fountains. A very nice place to visit, but it does get quite crowded.

We went in the evening to enjoy the fountains & park, but it is overly crowded & dimly lit. If you have seen Akshardham (Delhi) musical fountain show, you won't like it atall.
