Might be good for locals but its' an utter waste of time if you have seen the musical fountain at akshardham. Worst thing is there is no proper sync in music and the fountain. Very less option to eat here as well.

Take a drive along the road abutting the gardens...you can drive through the periphery of the Krishna raja sagar dam offering stunning views of the dam and the sluices.. Garden is well maintained..crowd kills the show..enormous is not the word..people everywhere around..parking well organised.. Musical fountain - excellent seating..arrangement..song choice and cordinated movements need to improve a lot..seating arrangements like... More

We were lucky to receive advice from locals to visit the gardens in the late afternoon - evening. Water features, lawns and prolific bird life made for a most enjoyable visit. Lovely to watch local families and groups of friends enjoying the facilities. Although we left before the lights came on, it was obvious evening would be the best time... More

The second visit to this place we saw the new musical fountains. quite okay. During early part of day one should finish exploring as it is huge and then only relax and watch fountains.

Its beautiful, if we have enough time you can visit. It takes around 40 minutes drive I guess from Mysore. if you are in hurry then its not the place to visit.

A very nice place to hang out with your friends and family. The light show starts in the evening. You will feel amazingly nice while looking at the lightnings and garden.

The gardens are poorly maintained, Crowd control is non existent and the whole place smells. The food and curio vendors treat the whole place as a trash cans. The Musical Fountain is pathetic. I have seen better fountains elsewhere in India, even the fountain in Malls are better.

Brindavan Garden was the major film shooting spot for yesteryear film makers. Long walks along the Krishnarajasagar dam one can see many artificial fountains and at the end of the location a dancing fountain with colour lights in the evenings. Children will enjoy this trip.
