The management at Brindavan Gardens have gone a tremendous change in recent time. Once the place was known for beautiful fountains and lush greenery however now garbage has captured the place, thanks to the management. Fountain water has become extremely dirty and packets of chips and all other dirty items are being thrown in the water. The lawn is also... More

This is a very beautiful garden. The fountains are quite beautiful, especially in the evenings when the lights are lit. However, the garden is not well managed. No proper pathway from the parking area to the entrance gate/ticket booth. Signage not clear. Public toilets are chargeable, but dirty.

We visited the famed Brindavan Gardens located around 20kms from Mysore city on Dussehra evening. It was around 6pm when we got entry into the park and by 6:30pm the light show spectacle was on. It's a visual delight with the combination of the flora (many varieties of flowers) and the illuminated water fountains. You can easily spend around 2-3... More

The Krishnaraja Sagar Dam across the Cauvery River is about 15 km from Mysore. The Brindavan Gardens are located just a level below the dam.Often described as the best example of illuminated terrace gardens in the world, the idea was brainchild of Sir M.Visveshwaraiah. The design here displays an orientation of Mughal patterns-with garden paths and a shimmering necklace of... More

It was Dusshera Evening when I visited there. Gathering of Locals & tourist were massive. To get a parking and enter the garden it took more than 40 mins. Finally after entering the garden I find nothing specail rather than few neons. That day no musical fountain or Laser were there.

This wonderful park is lacking behind because of poor maintenance, still it rocks. The sound system is bad, the fountain is small and the entire show unimpressive - nothing worth the about 25 kms drive from Mysore city and the hour of wait at ticket counter. But the KRS Dam view, it is very beautiful to see on evening times.... More

Brindavan Gardens (18 Kms from Mysore ) are located just a level below the Krishnaraja Sagar reservoir across the Cauvery River. It is an illuminated terrace garden. The overall design is of Mughal patterns - with garden paths and fountains. It looks very romantic when light showers fall. There is a pavilion on upper side from where visitors can get... More

Huge garden with full of colors and light. There are huge stretches of flowers everywhere. Fountains divide the garden in two parts. Around 7pm the light and sound show starts, but it isnt that great. According to my father this show hasn't changed much in the past 30 years. They use the same old technology. They should use some updated... More
