Temple is very huge. It is constructed in a very big area. Budha is presented in different forms in these temples. To be very frank these deities in this temple do not attract us very much as the imagination regarding lord Budha is different for Indians. The monastery is maintained neatly.

Though a must see, the golden monastery is located in Coorg. It would take approximately 90 minutes to this location from Mysore. While in bylakuppe one can enjoy the various tourist spots in Nearby Kushalnagar and Madikeri.

A holy place for Budhists. I would say that it is not only for Budhists but it is a place to be visited by people of all sects and relegions. One finds peace while visiting and spending some time in the Golden Temple. The statues of Lord Budha are excellent.
