A rich museum on our Honourable Ex-Prime Minister Smt Indira Gandhi. Entrance is free and worth visiting this place. After security check in though we entered in the Museum, but heavy indiscipline has been observed from the entrance of the museum building. Unnecessary pushing, over crowd and noise was spoiling the importance of the spot. This place is important for... More

This museum - although sadly very crowded so were pushed through somewhat, was still beautifully done and the descriptions and details of her Father, herself, and her Son Rajiv, all superb. The 'crystal' walk of her final steps and the spot where she succumbed to her guards' bullets, also sobering. some of the insights into her personal family life was... More

The Museum was initially the residence of Late Smt. Indira Gandhi who was the former and first Lady Prime Minister of India. Set in off white colour, the bunglow area is covered with well trimmed lawns and fringed with shady trees, plants, flowers and bushes. It was later converted into a Museum and a Memorial Site dedicated to the memory... More

Whatever your views of Indira Ghandi, positive or negative, this place is worth a visit. Interesting and very informative. Inevitably a certain view of the lady and her legacy is offered but nevertheless, definitely worth learning more about this influential female politician.

After the hussle and bustle of the city. To be in that open space which allows you to buy cheap books on Gandi we enjoyed being in this great park.

A finely curated museum I have ever seen. Feel the woman's strong personality as you are inside the museum...amazing! Indians should be proud and maintain this museum.

Her residence was converted into this "Memorial Museum". The series of buildings are Indian Mid-century modern. The furnishings are of that era. It is fascinating to see how wealthy political leaders lived. There are windows into her dressing room, bedroom, living room and dining room. The rest of the rooms have pictures, personal items and gifts displayed. This is a... More

The Museum is well curated, and managed. The displays for people of our age (73 and 67) very moving. We were ourselves in our prime in the period covered, and remember the lady and her achievements and failings well! So much done, and a few large flaws. Her family history is well documented, and helps understand what happened and why!...
