The house in which Indira Gandhi lived in has been transformed into a museum and pays tribute to her life as well... More

If you are fan of Congress Party, then this is a must visit place. Lot of information about Gandhi family. I personally didn't feel it's worth visiting this place.

This place shows the timeline of one of the greatest personalities in Indian Politics. You can even go near to the place where she was shot dead. Many of her belongings can be seen here and even of Mr. Rajeev Gandhi.

It was interesting to view the art of India in peaceful surroundings in such a hectic city. Loved the bucket sculpture at the entrance.

The Memorial spoke of the simplicity of the man and his humility. A huge marble slap it is covered with flowers, mostly marigolds and is visited by hordes of schoolchildren.

very well maintaied this was residence of Late Smt. Indira Gandhi who was the former and first Lady Prime Minister of India. . It was later converted into a Museum and a Memorial Site dedicated to the memory of Late Mrs. Indira Gandhi after she was assassinated within the premises of this Mansion on 31st October 1984.

Ideally arranged items in a properly directed route through the galleries of the building leading to the place of assassination of our beloved Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi.

This was an interesting little museum. When I went it was super crowded and that made it difficult to navigate, as it's quite small. But worth the visit.

Indira Gandhi lived at 1 Safdarjung Road house, which is now a Memorial to her, for more than 18 years, including nearly 16 years as Prime Minister of the country and died within the complex to the assassin bullets, fired by her own security officials. I distinctly remeber 31st October, 1984 when the entire country was shocked by the news... More
