This is a very quick, interesting and informative way to get to know of the history of Delhi. The show is slick with great, clear commentary and the visuals are very well produced. The whole thing is top rank, yeah they even provide you with free mosquito repellent!

Not one of the spectaclular sights but a nice park and some interesting architecture, particularly as it is the oldest fort.

Purana Quila (Old Fort) is another tourist attraction in New Delhi. It is a roughly rectangular shape one. It have three gateways provide with bastions on either side. It was surrounded by a wide moat, connected to river Yamuna, which used to flow on the east of the fort. Everyday their is a light and sound show here.

One of the great things about Delhi is that the most beatiful places of historic significance are in parkland and removed from the hubbub- this is one of them. With well-preserved pieces of architecture such as the mosque as well ruins such as the hammam (Turkish Bath), the fort is well worth a visit.

The small museum is good but they should have some seating spaces there. The Qila and various buildings was worth seeing : for history buffs. But do some background reading before and during the visit to maintain your interest
