Despite the monsoon rains, I really enjoyed wandering around the complex and seeing the architecture. Would've explored the grounds more if I wasn't clinging to my umbrella!

ancient monument of mugal era and a place to see. travelers can njoy boat ride at the qila lake and njoy cool breez nd recommend

This was an impressive site, but busy with Indian tourists, and we seemed to have chosen a time to go (late afternoon) when groups of young men gathered. In December,this monument is another 'good-to-visit' thing in Delhi.Not just Mughal architecture,it also houses exhibits dating back to 300BC.The site has seen several invasions.The Kushans,Sungas,Mughals,the slave dynasty;just about everyone has left their footprint behind. due to heavy traffic around it is difficult to enjoy the serenity of the place. maintenance is good but overall spirite is missing

we loved the archtechture, its mind blowing. visit in winters Oct to Feb.Make sure u have a guide as this has wonderful pieceof History. Make a point to see light and sound show.

don't miss the light and sound show.. its costs rs.80 per head...got English and hindi vesion.. worth a watch and value for money...amazing show...watched 1930hr English show...1hr show..

This place is a must visit. Been here since ages. Lots of history in this place. The delhi zoo is also closeby. Although i do not recommend the boating due to safety reasons.
