This place brings such nostalgia. Used to be a must on the school picnics and family picnics as well. A nice place for school kids. They have variety of models to explain some of the important science phenomenons. It has lost of activities and info movies as well. Used to go there almost every year in early 2000s.

Great place for learning. My child loved this place. But it Really needs repairing and maintainence. Most of models not working or broken. What ever is remaining kids still enjoy and if maintained nicely it can be one great place for learning. Still worth going at least once.

By the name, it seems like its just another government institute doing some research work and is not open to public. After visiting here twice, it seems to be one of the places to visit (even with kids). There are different divisions made in the centre and a lot of activities are their for kids which keeps them busy for... More

Must visit for kids, definitely a learning place even with NATGEO and DISCOVERY channel around. Loads of innovative working models to learn science. The history section is the best and showcases the Harappan culture beautifully. Avg. Visit time : 3 hrs

I visited this place and at the first glance it reminded me of all those science lessons which I had studied in my school and have now forgotten. The place is great-no doubt on this. From primitive India to medieval era, this place has everything we have studied earlier. From learning perspective, it is simply stunning. For people interested in... More

Despite the fact that some of the equipment are broke, a very nice experience in all. Many children try using the exercises without understanding them but a very good try from the authorities. Do take your kids with ample time in hand and explain everything to them.

Lot of interesting things which gives you a whole new dimension of understanding many things. Need at least 3-4 hours for visiting the... More
