I visited this place and at the first glance it reminded me of all those science lessons which I had studied in my school and have now forgotten. The place is great-no doubt on this. From primitive India to medieval era, this place has everything we have studied earlier. From learning perspective, it is simply stunning. For people interested in... More

Despite the fact that some of the equipment are broke, a very nice experience in all. Many children try using the exercises without understanding them but a very good try from the authorities. Do take your kids with ample time in hand and explain everything to them.

A must place for adults and kids who are inquisitive and like to know about the pre historic times, human body, science and technology, space etc. Lot of working models to make you understand the scientific concepts. Lot of interesting things which gives you a whole new dimension of understanding many things. Need at least 3-4 hours for visiting the... More

This is the only place in Delhi where school kids can go and have a bit of fun. Otherwise, Delhi has nothing to offer to kids. Most of the times I was more than cautious to protect Kids in Delhi as Delhi is not at all a place for Tourists.

People who want authorities to wake up - kindly write to Ministry of Culture about it. I have already written to several authorities. I think this is the basic rule on which National Science Centre is designed, located at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The National Science Centre is a constituent unit of the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture of the Government of India. It is a original institute engaged in the popularisation... More

Having been to Delhi a half dozen times already on business, I had already seen the major (and perhaps minor) tourist attractions. As an engineer I've always enjoyed science museums, so when I heard there was one in Delhi, I had to check it out. It's only about 30 INR for admission and it's the same rate for locals and... More
