When you look at this tall monument, you cannot stop but wonder how one could have built with no cranes/machines. But it is falling off at lot of places and I see no proper effort of restoration. We were there on rainy day and there was water stuck everywhere. Definitely the monument deserves better care. more

When 2 of us visited in December 2005, there was refurbishment construction surrounding the Minaret.
