This is an important railway station of Delhi connecting it to west and south of India...it has become a lot cleaner as what is used to be...there is ample security at the station...the taxi guys are still a big nuisance here ...the nizamuddin exit is less crowded and better maintained than the sarai kale khan exit....there is this lone food... It's a very important railway station situated beside the old nizamuddin mosque. It is a Railway station for South Indian trains in a larger way. The station is not so big as like New Delhi station but not very well maintained. There has lot to be done in this regard.

The best means of travelling across cities in India is through the Indian railway. This railway station is so neat and clean and organized.

The station of Hazrat Nizammudin of Delhi is very busy. There are 100's of trains running all day long from here. The station cleanliness is a bit low, but the required services and amenities like waiting room, and food stalls are all in place at the station. Please be careful to the prying eyes on your luggage and the children.... More

If you've got a stopover at this station you're best bet is to head to the entrance near PF1 and sit at the 24hrs restaurant by IRCTC called Conneseum. The food isn't the greatest, but you've got safe seating with access to the toilet and water. Cleanliness during peak hours is a bother though.

This station is a hub for almost most of the Rajdhani's going to South India . Almost all the passing trains towards New Delhi has a stop at Nizamuddin. The station is maintained in neat manner and there are two exit gates one towards the Ashram side and other one towards the Sarai Khale Khan side . From both sides... More

Nizamuddin is a moderate sized, one of the busiest railway stations in Delhi. Don't be surprised if you see approach roads to the station completely blocked by Auto rickshaw and Taxis; especially when approaching the station from Sarai Kale Khan side (East Side). Better to keep 15 min margin for this. You need to bargain when renting a Taxi or... More
