This is the second busiest station in Delhi as lot of trains pass or start from this station. Platforms are very congested and not maintained at all.

Its obviously the people who land up there who make the place dirty but i also doubt the cleanliness staff.. Have been seated for close to 3 hrs once and hardly found anyone doing a round. The only platform checked and cleaned is the Platform 1. The rest are ignored and are smelly and needs a lot of attention.

Inspired by the Railway magazine RAILBANDHU September 2014 issue Article This meal is fit for you by one NEETI NIGAM about RAJDHANI Express Train. I planned a trip to Secunderabad along with a couple from USA. I booked FIRST CLASS AC tickets in NIZAMMUDIN-Secunderabad DURONTO EXPRESS for 01.12.2014 and return tickets for 07.12.2014. I was delighted to travel till I... More

Have been through this railway station several times. Has improved a bit every time but far from desired. I had to lug my heavy nag up one bridge on search of the upper class waiting room, only to find that it is on the other end, for which I'd to descend this bridge and climb another one. Killed my shoulder.... More

Like any other railway station, nothing great could have been expected here. It is also dirty as usual with stinking odour filling your nostrils.

+ One of New Delhi most used Railway Station apart from New Delhi Station. - Can be maintained much better. Tips: 1. Please check your train boarding station and get it confirmed if it is New Delhi station or Nizamuddin. 2. Better to take some food if you are coming city. Else use Railway food which is serviced by a... More

Extremely scarce of waiting areas for Upper class passengers. Too many trains departs from this station during the day, making it terrible experience if waiting time is more than an hour. So, don't wait at the stations, instead there is COMESUM outside the platform (there is one inside the stations on platform 1 but its too small) where you may... More

good enough Train station, just the wrong one to where i wanted to leave from compared to where my hotel was (New Delhi Station was at the end of the road), that being said, english departure times, food and drink stalls open relatively early (6am departure and could grab a drink and a snack), and its a indian train station,... I was given a broken wheel-chair for travel from platform 5 to platfrom 1. The battery car was not to be seen. The driver had switched had refused to carry me citing breakdown of the battery car. There is not enough seating space on platform no.5. The coolies demand exhorbitant sums to carry the luggage and there is no control... More
