Our one-of-a-kind tours have been covered in various newspapers, TV channels and magazines and are included among 'the top 50 trips of the world' by Outlook Traveller (a top travel magazine in India). If you are looking to explore Delhi's rich history, heritage, religions, cuisines and culture, then you will love this experience. With us, you get transported 400 years back in history and glide through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk (The Moonlit Square of India), the most popular street in Old Delhi. Take the tour and witness the architectural marvels, the multicolored facades, beautifully decorated shops, ethnically dressed men and women and get bombarded by the fragrances emanating from the potpourri of eateries that line these historical alleys. Included in the tour (exclusive offerings) are foods from famous eateries, real time live-commentary, visit to an exclusive photo-gallery and souvenir booklet. Our expert Delhi enthusiasts (passionate guides) show the city from the local's perspective and tell tales that breathe life into the history of one of the greatest heritage cities in the world and help the guests discover the real places that they will not find in the guide books. Our 'holistic tours' include visits to Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Spice Market, Wedding Market, various Religious Shrines, Silver Bazaar, Town Hall, Zeenat Mahal, old mansions, and other hidden gems. We have paired up with several Delhi hotels and have served dignitaries including the ambassadors from the American and the French Embassies and many other guests from international organization like W.H.O., U.N.E.S.C.O., World Bank, U.N.D.P., Bill Gates Foundation, U.N. and others. We also offer tours in New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. « less

This is the perfect way to see this part of delhi. It is thrilling to go inside the bustling sreets on pedicabs. Walking can be difficult here as the streets are too crowded. Food is something you should not miss at any cost. Go ahead and enjoy a different aspect of the city and induldge in the colors and chaos... More

We recently took the Wii tour of Old Delhi during a stopover while traveling through India. We were looking for a brief introduction into the spice markets and historical sites of the older parts of Delhi. The tour was very well organized. For my fiancee who was on her first trip to India, she quickly felt at ease as our... More

The short review: My friend and I went on a Golden Triangle tour arranged by When in India. We had an overall positive experience and would recommend it to others. The long review: I got in touch with Taruna, one of the owners, about a week before we arrived in India. I guess you could say it was kind of... More

I was not sure as to what to expect as I had heard mixed feedback about old Delhi. Some people had advised me to avoid going there because of the chaos etc. I decided to take this tour which was a safe and interesting way to see the city. It is a great tour as it took us inside some... More

A lot of people I've talked with don't enjoy Delhi, and Old Delhi in particular. Maybe it's because they haven't taken this tour! I enjoy discovering things on my own, but I admit that in Delhi you sometimes need help in scratching the surface. I have also done the Old Delhi Bazaar Walk, which is the no. 1 activity on... More

I took their 3 hour private tour of Old Delhi on their enchanting rickshaws. It was everything I had hoped for in a tour. I could never have explored this city on my own, as it quite complicated. The staff was very friendly and I felt like we were being pampered. I enjoyed my experience and would encourage others to... More

My wife and I arranged a trip with this company last month for 5 days to do the golden triangle. (Delhi Jaipur and Agra) before we travelled down south on our own. I have to say that Taruna at When in India could not have been more attentive. She called every day (sometimes twice a day) to make sure that... More

Words alone cannot describe our fantastic guide Ritu. A very well educated young lady, who was informative, knowledgeable, funny, interactive and passionate about her city. She gave us a 3 hour tour of the old town that gave us great insight into this beautiful city. It covered a lot of area and different activities and places and including free food.... More
