What a great way to see and experience Old Delhi without all the headache! Ritu has a great balance of authenticity and convenience, and the group we toured with was a great mix of people. She was genuinely helpful, as evidenced by her finding-- and then negotiating-- with an astrologer for birth chart readings! Her follow-up lunch recommendation was also... More

This is a very exciting way to visit the old delhi market place. However, make sure you don't get lost or separated from your guide because traffic is really packed, and it will be hard to find each other again without a phone. Also super crowded, but you can buy nice spices.

We had a private day tour of Delhi, and it included a rickshaw ride through the old town. Our tour was on a Sunday, so almost all of the shops were shut. In my opinion, that was a good thing as Old Delhi is really dirty. It was nice to see the food stands and few shops that were open... More

Hire a bike rickshaw to take you on a tour of Old Delhi. Our cost was 300 INR for a rickshaw, so target that price in your negotiations. We were taken through all the various markets, and even stopped for a bit in the spice market to walk around just a bit. This is not something you would want to... More

This attraction must be experienced to believe. It's not real, yet it is. Two in a rickshaw being pulled by a native through narrow and winding streets in competition with motorcycles, bicycles, small cars and carts going and coming to who knows where; The noise from all these vehicles makes for a non stop symphony of horns - blowing and... This is a ride you must experience. So much to see down really narrow streets with all the hustle and bustle, then out onto the main roads where you are weaving between the traffic. Fantastic. Your really get a feel of Old Delhi and a visit to the spice market is a must with the wonderful smells. Just remember to... More

We did a 30 minute ride...amazing to see how commerce is actually done on these narrow roads. Now idea who knows how to get anywhere! Electrical work is a sight to see!!

Got to be done! Down streets that if you put your hands out both sides in many places you touch both sides of the street! The sights, sounds and smells are memorable, the electrical cabling above your head is unbelivable and you could probably walk the length of the streets if you were brave enough. Drive through shopping taken to... More

Our rickshaw ride was amazing, our guide spoke good English! He took us to the spice, silver and cloth market. At the spice market, he showed us the way up to the top of the market and had a great overview of the mosque and the packing building of the spice market. The ride took around one hour: price is... This is a quaint trip in old Delhi. Perhaps the only way to travel on a hired vehicle in this area, especially if you get tired exploring the alleys and relishing the amazing food on offer. Rickshaws are available in a lot of cities in India. They might seem cruel to westerners, but this is how a large no. of... More
