Multi-function sports complex that is one of the jewels of Delhi, and an impressive view from afar. Various sports are played here within the stadium proper, whilst the surrounding complex area is used for various functions. Plenty of signs help you navigate your way around. Fairly easy to get to via public transport too. Not much parking available though.

This stadium was made way back in the 1980's for the Asian Games. It was renovated and modernised for the Commonwealth Games in 2014. Parking is not easy as you need to go to designated parking slots near the stadium. There isnt much to see here except that the Sports Authority of India, who maintains this stadium, will let you... Right at the end of barapulla you can see this beautiful architecture. It looks small from the outside compared to when you enter it you can feel the grandness of this architecture. this was designed for common wealth games. Its an indoor sports complex, offering huge variety of games. Must visit during matches and tournaments.

I visited the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium for my race. It was like a dream come true to run here. The stadium is big and beautiful. Many events are held here frequently, like the Indian Super League, several marathons, etc. Ample parking space is available.
