Professionally organized, but not without dangers...Cycling in Old Delhi sounds like a very, very bad idea but it is actually a wonderful way to get around effectively and enjoy tha astonishing madness of this part of town. Old Delhi is already beyond decay...My favourite; watching pigeons' training from the top terrace of the spice market building.

I really enjoyed this early bike ride round Old Delhi. The guide was good to understand a an he explained lots of little extra details of daily life in the city. Being taken up on the roofs of an old Haveli in the spicemarket was the highlight of the morning. Seeing the pigeons fly in flocks and their owners caling... More

We booked a 4ish hour early doors bike tour of Old Delhi. We met at the bike shed (underground car park) for 06.20am for a 06.30 start. The tour was led by a guide and then also had a member for the team following up the rear to make sure none of us got lost. The ride itself took you... More

We started very early on Sunday morning, 6 hr. We really didn't know what to expect. It was excellent!! We did the old Delhi tour in a group of about 8 people. Good bikes and very nice guides. Our 2 children (13 and 17) also had the morning of their life. The tour takes you through the narrow streets of... More

Seeing old Delhi by bicycle is the best introduction you can get. No one has the chance to bother you because you've already whizzed past, and early in the morning crowds are few. The tours are well run, informative and very enjoyable. As an expat in Delhi, I have a number of friends who have done Delhi by Cycle tours... More

Had one full day to spend in Delhi, being a solo female traveller, I was wanting to spend some time in the old city but too scared to do alone. This trip was PERFECT! Despite the rain chucking it down, 5 people on the trip decided to go ahead (not surprisingly only the Dutch remained :)). It was such a... More

We are a mature couple who like to experience a bicycle tour in major cities when we travel. This time our travelling companions were aghast that we would dare venture onto Delhi streets by bicycle. We found your Havali tour just the right mix. We enjoyed the back streets of the old town and the hustle and bustle of the... More

This this past Saturday we took a delightful cycle tour with Shashi and Kapil as our guides. We did the Raj tour and had an absolutely wonderful time. Shashi is a phenomenal tour guide with lots of information about New Delhi, the history of India, general interesting tidbits and great suggestions of places to find more information. Kapil was a... I am 50 but an aged backpacker by mentality so not into organised tours, but liked the idea of cycling through Old Delhi's nooks and crannies . I did the Shah Jahan tour. Web site booking easy and the Delite cinema easy to find by auto rickshaw. Well what a trip, I had not been to India since a 4... More
