All tours leave at 9:30am. If you can, take a private charter to zapatillas at Bastimentos National Marine Park at 8:30am and you will have the adventure to yourselves! Dolphins feed in AM. Better chance then.

Do not ever book a trip to bocas dek toro unless if you only want to get drunk and party! Booked a tour that included dolphin watching, 2 snorkeling places, and sloth watching. Dolphin bay: only 20% chance you'll see dolphins and the chances keep decreasing! Snorkeling in national park marino isla bastimentidos (zapatillo): impossible due to very heavy currents... More

Our hotel Punta Caracol Aqua Lodge took us on an excursion to see the dolphins. We had a great time. There was several dolphins in the bay and we were able to get pretty close to them in the boat w/ out the dolphins seeming to mind. Great experience.

We did see dolphins and we tried to keep it quiet, because soon as you see them 10 other boats come flying over.

Took a local boat out on a tour and one of the stops was Dolphin Bay. We found ourselves in a cove with about 4 other boats, as we saw 2 dolphin now and again. I see more in Corpus Christi texas 10 minutes time. I understand dolphin don't have a schedule and you never know what you'll see, overall,... More

We stopped by on our way to Las Zapatillas which are awesome islands. The good news - there are dolphins and you will more than likely see them. The bad news - there are a good number of tour boats going every day with tourists - once they spot a few dolphins they radio each other and then it becomes... More

We took a boat tour that included a visit to Dolphin Bay and it was sad to watch 15-20 boats chasing surfacing dolphin around the bay. It was like the dolphins were running away from the boats.

The tour guides are all good friends and respectfully allow each boat to get their photo opportunities, but you have to be quick as the dolphins are in and out if the water very quickly. You should do... More
