The white lighthouse Oluanpi with surrounding walls, is an interesting place. The walls was built along time ago when inhabitants protested against the light house. Now it is a museum.

it's a pretty place to a picture... nothing special really. To the right as you come in there is a medium sized lagoon with a pebble shore - not coral. It's suitable for kids close to the shore. and at high tide it's deep enough to swim in.

The lighthouse was built with a donation from the US after SS Hoover sank in 1939. I thought that was pretty cool, a much needed item for the island and it stands just as tall and beautiful as ever.

Come here for excellent sunset photo during your stay on the Green Island and you'll never be disappointed! Please do take note that it can get up to 43oC during the day time here, put some sun screen on!
