Really nice place to know the local history about pottery making. With the entrance fee, we were given a 20-minute demonstration about the history and basic techniques on pottery. you could purchase the pottery DIY and have the experience of making your own cup or plate here. But for foreigner like me, I don't do this as the final product need you to come and collect yourself or mail to your friend who stay in taiwan for a certain charges. We enjoyed a couple of hours at the Shueili Snake Kiln. The museum was interesting to look through and you are able to make your own pottery if you have time. They also have a cafe so you can stop for a drink and food.

This tourist attraction is in the little sleepy town of ShuiLi. we took the 8.30am train from Taipei to reach chung Hwa station ( one stop after Taichung station) at 10.50am.
