It was a beautiful historic temple with nice engravings. Unfortunately it was destroyed by the 921 earthquake. Despite that, it had collapsed gracefully to what it was now.

The township is wonderful, with a number of very nice (local restaurants) some of the street side vendors are to die for. Close by is a turn of the centry wood mill that had been occupied by the Japanese during WWII, if you enjoy some nice sightseeing take the train from Shuili to the end of the line. You'll fine... More
