Sumlime after 9 at night. Have your dinner and stroll arround this 2 mile walk taking in the quietening of the city as it begins to slumber. The added benefit of this timely walk is that the touts have gone home and the Police are around.

the well paved walkway around the lake will take about 2hrs to complete. Surrounded by interesting buildings with a garden island in the centre. Boat trips are available.

Just next to the Temple of Tooth the lake is a peaceful place to see. You can sit at the bench provided and look at the abundance of fish swimming in the lake! Fishing is prohibited at the lake. The Queen's bath is located along the lake as well, you can just walk in and have a look.

After visiting The Temple of the Tooth, we took short walk around the part of the Lake. Nice place to relax, compare to very busy town centre. We were invited to attend dancing performance in the cultural centre, which you will also pass.

With breathtaking views the lake surrounds the city. Situated right in front of the Temple of the Tooth, its something you will never miss if you are in Kandy.
