One day trip out of Belgrade

Nice place, 2 hours away from Belgrade. Good food, good atmosphere. You can relax walking by the Danube river. It was a little bit overcrowded, since was a Labour day.

Srebrno jezero is one of those attractions that will keep on giving. In the summer it is a busy anthill of activities, but in the winter it is dead as a doorknob. But still, almost feels like a seaside in june or july :) If you haven't been, do try it!

Silver Lake is a decent summer destination if all you want is to relax for a couple of days. The area is quiet, accommodation offers good value for your money, there is at least one restaurant with excellent food and you can safely swim in the Danube. Ok, it is a lake made from a dammed branch of the Danube,... More

I liked the feeling of great harmony between the nature, the river and the visitors of the resort. Swimming in the lake and the river was for me personaly a kind of the return to the childhood. The real retro tourism! Different and uncommon feeling of the summer holiday vacation (compared with the holiday by the Sea). Lot of things... More

It is a very nice place with very nice people. Many smile, many little restaurants with good food (open also in the night) and wonderful landscape along the Danube! Good little hotels and private rooms and camping.
