Okay, this is one of those places you absolutely have to experience to appreciate. These geoglyphs located in the Nasca Desert should be viewed from aloft in order to see them clearly. How, by whom, why, and when, are only some of the questions that will surely come to mind when viewing the Nasca Lines. The geoglyphs are truly mind-boggling.... more

We used Mystery Peru for tours in Nasca, Arequipa, Colca Canyon, Lake Titicaca, Cusco, and Machu Picchu. We had a great trip to Peru and appreciate the help provided by Enrique. Everywhere we went for those 2 weeks there was someone there to meet with us the night before our tour to explain the plan for the next day. The... more

Art on a planet-size canvas. Hundreds of years old, and can only be seen and understood from high above, the Nasca lines are art, history, science, and mystery on a large scale. I was shocked the day we went, there were no other tourists at the airport. The only way to see the Nasca lines is to fly over in... more

My GAP tour of Peru which I took last year included a flight over the Nazca lines in their itinerary. Its indeed one of the most amazing sights in the Peruvian desert. Was it space aliens (tourists tend to laugh when the subject of Erich von Daniken is brought up) or some giant celestial map? No time for answers, just... more

The view is amazing!!! However, make sure to get to the airport. Skip reservation with Operators and agencies, which overcharge big time. Prices are negotiable at the airport, even for tourists who pay full fare at about 92 US$. The actual price list for foreigner is 60 US$. You can even negotiate down to 50 US$. Also find out at... more

Wow! Just returned from a three week tour of Peru. The geography is breathtaking, the culture and history fasinating and the people friendly. As a member of the South America Explorer's (SAE) Club, I asked the manager of the Lima clubhouse for a recommendation on Mystery Peru Tours. He gave them an excellent review and we were not disappointed. Enrique... more

If you have a day to spare I would definitely add this stop to your itinerary! You can take the bus from Lima to Arequipa and spend the night in Nasca to break down the long drive. Stay in a nice hotel and make a day out of it! I really enjoyed the flight over the Nasca lines and never... more

We booked a flight from Lima to Nazca and then a smaller plane for the overflight of the lines. The Flight was delayed in Lima for almost 4 hours and we were told it was because it was foggy. It didn't look foggy to us and all the other planes were taking off. It was only later that we realized... more

Dear Traveler's; While planning our trip to Peru, we researched extending our visit to included flying over the Nazcza Lines. We used the internet to find the tour that would best meet our criteria. Mystery Peru Adventure Tours, operated by Enrique Levano surpassed all expectations!. From the first on line enquiry to the end of the tour, this tour was... more

Having been to Peru 10 years ago, I was determined not to miss seeing the Nazca Lines on this trip with my wife. Our guide and travel agent, Monica Velasquez - [--] -highly reccomended - had arranged everything in advance. We even got "the patch" for motion sickness as we were warned that the plane circles and weaves around the... more
