Cool place to relax and have a coffee, fun place to hang out and close to go do some sandboard or dune buggy. The view is spectacular and the site is also a romantic setting.

Huacachina was a nice area to visit. We didn't stay overnight there, stayed in Inca instead which is only 10 minutes away. Very touristy and I didn't see much local housing. It was nice and not as commercial as other such areas, but yes truly made for tourists. The dune buggy and sandboarding was a lot of fun! Great experience... More

Sand boarding and dune buggies was so much fun (specially for the price). If you like speed and being adventurous, this is for you! It last couple of hours, you ride the buggy and then they take you to do sand boarding. There were moments I feel scared, but our guide was so nice, that make you feel comfortable. You... More

While this is a picturesque setting the amount of rubbish in the dunes and around the oasis is dissappointing. I think a campaign of every person who walks the dunes should, bring 10 pieces of rubbish down would be a great idea.

The lagoon is pretty cool, although there needs to be a bit more maintenance in the area as graffiti on the walls and trash on the sand makes this place less attractive. There is dune buggy's and sandboarding offered at a cost of $35 Soles, both were fun.

This place is absolutely amazing. I would consider this area more fascinating than Machu Picchu but thats a matter of opinion. 2 fulls days here is plenty enough time to see and do everything. The oasis itself is beautiful during the day and at night. the dunes surrounding the oasis are hikeable and provide some amazing views of the surrounding... More

Be carefull with the sandboarding!! I went on a buggy ride, i think it was with banana tours, and it was really unsafe. The guide didnt speak english, the sandboards were in terrible condition and there were no helmets provided. At the last hill another girl bumped in to me so hard that she had a sculbase fracture. Luckely for... More

It's a cool unique spot in the desert surrounded by towering sand dunes. The sand boarding and dune buggy rides are really cheap and a great couple of hours, especially if you haven't been in the desert before.

The lagoon looks like it is out of a fairy tale. It is smack in the middle of town and the desert. Some call this place an oasis.it is well worth a visit, particularly for lunch after the Nazca flight, when one has missed breakfast .

A place off the beaten path, sand, sun and nice people. It is advisable to hire a sand board package and everything will be more comfortable. Recommended in the evening so not you endure the desert sun.
