This tour wasn't exactly the most funny thing of the trip, but all the souvenirs was amazing. I almost buy everything on the store. Besides, is better in liquors than this other bodega Lazo

Had a great (English) tour by Jorge who was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Also great time sampling all the different wine and pisco varieties at the bar, again with Jorge. Also ate lunch here (stuffed avocados!) and enjoyed it. Good option for a side tour if travelling through Ica as we were.

Two couples - we had lunch and then a wine and pisco tasting. The wines were too sweet for our taste, which is to be expected as peruvians like their wines sweet, but we really enjoyed the piscos. For those who like a drink this tasting was wonderful - I think we tasted 3 wines, 3 piscos and 3 pisco... More

Learn about the traditional way of making wine...it was pretty interesting and the guide was very friendly. Wine tasting after- 7-10 different types of wine and pisco. Great lunch stop also!

We visited El Catador in a Ruta del Pisco's tour. The Tour in the Winery also the Wine/Pisco/Pisco Cream tasting were free. The Guide brought us around and explained very friendly, even offering us a tour in English since my Spanish is not very well. The Winery area also have Olla de Juanita Restaurant. This winery have a souvenir store... More

I came here for lunch with my 5 friends. We had an absolute blast! The food portions were more than generous compared to what I am used to in the states. AND of course, I ate it all! I ate the spa seca, typical from the Ica region. My girlfriend had the chicken milanesa. It was almost bigger than the... More

If you want to see the process, go in March or April. But we were happy just to get an overview and have three different bodegas that gave us samples. By that I mean pisco samples with a little bit of sweet wine, because the grapes grown in the region are not chardonnay or malbec grapes. There is also a... More

If you don't visit during harvest time (we didn't) then there is not much to see. Our guide was informative, but not very interested in what he was doing (he played a lot with his mobile/cell phone during the tour). There are no beautiful vineyards to see and the place is rather dirty/dusty looking (I guess it is a desert... More

If you are looking for good wines as well as pisco then you might be better off going to a bigger vineyard.

I have been here three times and this time the service and food was significantly less desirable. The tour was the same and they gave a nice tasting of pisco and sweet wine. However, sometimes when your at the beach you want a diversion and this is one of them. You can buy the same wines for about 20% less... More
