Clear water, white sand. Traffic on beach (people, boats, tractors). Friendly people. More Asian tourists, escape from the European tourist haunts with drunk people and lack of sunbeds.

Beautiful island, pretty good nightlife. The beaches are just gorgeous and the water, crystal clear! However, when it comes to the underwater life, Perhentian Islands is much more beautiful! But regardless, it's an excellent holiday destination to just kick off those shoes and de-stress.

It may be a matter of tastes, but as much as I loves The Taaras, I did not much like the main part of the Island packed with resorts, boats, loud music and many tourists. The beaches seem very nice everywhere. Diving is far from interesting. Snorkeling very average. But the beach and water temperature are precious.

Beautiful beach with white sand! nice for a short holiday break, snorkeling is not great but ok. The island seems very commercialize but it adds convenient though, the next time I go back I would recommend to just lie down by the beach site, without signing up to any of the packages, would like to try hopping to the 2... The water are very clear, the fishes are very playful. Sadly the boats are should be changed or maintaned to avoid spill of smokes and black oils into the beach. Corals are dying.... which something should be done to take care of the nature. Packages offered for snorkelling is really poor and not a fair price for the amount of... More

Everything is ok to me except for the mosquito. The hotel should prepare mosquito repellent considering the area is kinda infested by them. Or clean the infested area often. Honestly, I was a lil agitated by it.. but I was still happy to be there..

Blue sky and whity cloud is the best word to describe Redang Island. It located offshore from Kuala Terengganu, about 1 hour speedboat to reach. A great place for snorkelling, to experience the snorkelling for the beginner. If you don't like snorkelling just lay on the beach for a sunbath, feel the nature and the beach.
