Clear waters, turquoise ocean, white sand, snorkeling, scuba, laid back life. Ideal for a short getaway. Had a great time at the island. Wouldn't mind coming back.

A very nice place ! The beach is great, snorkeling also very nice ! But avoid the hotels on the main beach, too crowded, full of chinese in life jacket ! Prefer the Berjaya hotel and it's own beach !

The diving sites were good. I've been to Sipadan and yet I was still happy with them. I saw the biggest moray eel I've seen in Terumbu Kili and 2 huge stingrays in Pulau Paku Kecil. The visibility was great too! I love the geographical landscape in Tanjung Toh Kong, although when we dived there the visibility wasn't as good... More

lovely dive or snorkeling dive sites. long beach is usually crowded. can either stay at redang kalong or even better, taaras for it's serene and peaceful beach where there's less people. downside to this will be the lack of activities and food option

The beach area and dive spots are fantastic, snorkelling off the beach a must. The government or local authorities would benefit with some further cleanup of refuse around the island.

I like the natural scenery of the island. Certain places are dirty and not well maintained. Some corals are dying.

Visit this small island for a pleasant and relaxing vacation. Stayed at the Laguna Redang Resort for a bargain package, and experience the watersports, all-you-can-eat 3 times a day (the foods are amazing!), live band on the beachfront every night (they sing romantic songs and mandopop :D). Its an iconic island in Malaysia that became famous when a popular Hongkong... More

I visited Redang during a Star Cruise trip. The ship, Superstar Gemini, sailed from Singapore on 7th June 2015. The ship is parked a few kilometres from the island to avoid its hull from hitting the sea bed. We were taken on a ferry to the island. The dive resort at the disembarkation point of the island was running packed... More
