This is one of the best beaches in Malaysia. White sand and turquoise colour water, the place looks very beautiful. It's a hidden gem, most of the tourists flock to Langkawi or Phuket or Krabi and the place is less crowded. Loved snorkeling in the beaches and visibility was very good. The marine park was worth visiting. Taking accommodation is... More

Beautiful small island. I would recommend staying at the Redang Island Hotel if you are looking for a quite and peaceful getaway. The marine park is gorgeous, and so are the snorkelling sites you can get taken to arranged by the hotel.

calm, clear and warm waters that are great for snorkeling. White sandy beaches and easy access to neighbouring Islands make this a very attractive location.

Redang is a beautiful island full of spectacular scenery that many can only dream about. Fortunately, I visited this island recently and when I realised how amazing it was, I never wanted to leave. I love this island. Beautiful waters, great secnic view and if you are into diving, snorkelling or just to laze around ...this is the place to be. I have visited this island 3 times this year and plan for many more comebacks. Rent a boat and venture other parts of the island...the beach near Wisana Resort is awesome...almost secluded which... Visited last month. Very nice sandy white beach with amazing crystal clear water that you could see fishes swimming around and even spot some turtles by just snorkelling if you're lucky! You can stay at Pasir Panjang(Long Beach) if you like beach activities or nightlife. It has a few selection of resorts, mostly are are mid-range ones; i.e Laguna Redang.... More

Stayed at Taaras Resort - it's a beautiful resort. Didn't venture to the other side of the island, but where we stayed was nice and quiet with a beautiful beach and a few turtles swimming around to hang out with during the day!

Liked: the snorkeling at healthy coral reefs & rich marine life. Disliked: the night-time live-music at the beach resorts.
