Good dive and snorkelling sites are plentiful in Redang, with a good variety of sea animals like humphead, sharks, turtles, barracudas, etc. Slightly concerning, however, is that there are signs of overdevelopment in recent years, and inadequate care and conservation of the environment particularly at the Long beach, the happening place with bars and restaurants.

Redang is not exactly a rest and relax type of island, it have plenty night life ( laguna redang & redang beach resort have decent night activity such as party. ) and they are a lot of tourist esp during weekend. but Redang is still very beautiful and the sand is very well maintain, if you like to snorkel, beside... Great place for relaxing. For more of a party holiday, it would be best to have a big group. Not many bars/clubs, except for the hotel bars. But it is beautiful beyond expectation.

The beach where is near Laguna Redang Resort is beautiful. Everyone can go and stay there. But there is too much rubbish somewhere, everyone including the tourists are responsible for maintaining cleaning on the island.

A wonderful 3D2N vacation at the Laguna Redang Resort. Lovely pristine beaches, clear water with coral & lots of colorful fishes. There is a ongoing Turtle Conservation project which we helped release day old turtles to the sea. We went to the Pulau Pinang Marine Park too. Beautiful & unspoil. Hopefully the authorities continue to keep this environment & retrict... More

I love this place. Back here after three years. Changes? Almost the same except a few more new resorts and commercialize feeling. Marine park snorkelling is worth going. The open sea snorkelling is a bit waste of time. But for first timer, it is still advisable to go and get a hang of open sea snorkelling. Pretty safe unless you... More

Lovely experience with friendly people. If you're looking for a quite place, head to Redang Island Resort but if you're looking for happening evenings, pick one of the many resort along long beach. You wont regret a trip to this island!

Redang island is one of the best islands in Malaysia I have been so far. Ideal to stay for 3 days, longer if you seek for solitude. Most of the resorts in the island offer packages inclusive of ferry ride, accommodation and meals, which is truly worth the amount. Dont miss the Marine life park, you can see the aquatic... More

Excellent hotel and very kind staff. Marvellous beach. One of the best places to rest peacefully with family, contact nature... after a year of hard work....
