Just came back from a week on the Perhentians and dived 12 times with TBD. I echo the other reviews about TBD's focus on good diving equipment, thorough dive briefings, and strict 4 divers to 1 dive master ratio. I also liked the fact TBD provide fresh tubs of water for each piece of kit with mild disinfectant solution in... More

Came to Pulau Perhentian to satisfy our crave for diving - haven't been diving for 2 years. Refresher course was useful to brush up on diving safety and tips. Divemasters were friendly and professional and represent a mini-United Nations- Lis, Kristy, Luis, Ali, Chris, June etc! Comprehensive briefing and debriefing, and always on the lookout for your safety underwater +... More

We spent four days diving with TBD and had a great time, we would definitely come again! + Super friendly and laid back staff + comparably young and easy going divers around + Very new equipment and focus on proper cleaning after each dive + Fast speed boats, max. 20min to the furthest dive sites + Great prices (we paid... I came to the Perhentian Islands with 2 friends from Australia to dive for the very first time. We opted for the 4 day open water diving course. The first 2 days were filled with theory (we watch PADI training videos) and confined water dives (at this location we just do it in shallow water near the beach). On day... More

This dive school might be a tiny bit more expensive than the neighbouring dive school, but that is more than compensated by the service you get! You go off with speedboats in small groups (we were just the two of us with a dive master), and you get a really good feedback session after the dive. My companion diver had... More

There are a few dive centres on Perhantian Besar but I would highly recommend this centre. During the evening, in their free time I got a good explanation about the possibilities of dives, costs, etc. A few days later I went diving and got their NEW gear set for me. I've been diving quite a number of times but rarely... More

I love how budget dive shops provide snacks and free flow of hot drinks. Equipments are fine and I have no issues diving with them. Dived with DM Santiago and Kris and they're so into the Macro stuff and it's really awesome!

We are certified open water divers and came to the Perhentians for fun diving. I'm glad to have chosen Turtle Bay Divers. The place is run professionally with fun, helpful, and friendly staff. The gear was in good shape and was set up for us before every dive. We had a proper briefing before every dive and a debriefing afterwards... More

We used these guys for a week of diving on the Perhentians recently. Great place, well run, with lots of friendly and helpful staff. The equipment is generally good, and there are plenty of boats so you can always dive the sites you want to. The ratio of 4:1 divers to dive leader is good, and pretty much all the... More
