We booked our honeymoon trip to Kapalai with Dive The World. Initially they were very responsive and helpful, however when our agent went for a vacation, we had extreme difficulty in receiving response for our booking. It took them 11 days to confirm our booking after we transferred the money and this has created a lot of stress for me... More

Hello everyone, I spent 6 days and 5 nights at SMART, which I beleive is enough. To get there is hard and tired, so anyways, once you arrive at Pulau Mabul, they will welcome you with a big smile. The first dive will be at Mabul and they will show you the other side of the island, the bungalow there... More

At night, Celebes Explorer anchors at Mabul and in the morning, it sails to Sipadan for three or four dives after which it returns to Mabul. Great arrangement. It works like a floating hotel. There is room for sixteen people and from Celebes Explorer you can dive at Sipadan every day unlike if you are staying at Mabul or Kapalai.... More

I did a live-aboard trip on the Celebes Explorer to Sipidan. While we dived at Sipidan every day (except the first day) the boat was moored at Mabul the whole time. So every day we had to take a small boat for about an hour to Sipidan. I sort of feel like I might as well have stayed at one... More

The services of Celebes Exploree is very nice, and you can dive in Sipadon many times. But the first day we stay on boat all day because on Mabul island last night one policeman was shot to death and one policeman was kidnapped by rubber. I hope the security is very important for every visitor and diver.

I booked a 7 day 6 night stay at mabul water bungalows through dive the world. I was originally going to book kapalai but dive the world agent said they are full and recommended mbw as an alternative, which is more expensive but have the dates we wanted. That is all fine, and the agent generally responded quite promptly to... More

We are sorry your trip wasn't as wonderful as you had hoped. Please be assured we passed on all of your information in full and in a timely manner to the operator. This included your room request, although we did advise that rooms are allocated on an arrival basis. If some information failed to filter down to their ground staff... More

We booked with the "Dive the World" to stay at SMART for 9 days, 8 nights with a big group (13 divers). Our contact was Enrico, who was very helpful and organised well both the resort and the transfer. Everything was correct like 3 years ago when we were there first time. The accomodation was nice, clean, the staff helpful... More

Thanks for the review. Glad you enjoyed Sipadan but you are right - It has changed over the years. That's what happens when an awesome new place is found. Everyone wants to go there and things then change in response to that demand. It IS still excellent though but the authorities do need to do more, not just in Sipadan... More
