We were here only 2 days, but how amazing 2, in 2009. Organizer was the Julius Nzumbi's JT tours from Galu beach. Numerous elephant groups were seen as well as cheetahs, lions, buffalos, gazelles to name a few of the animals we saw. The area is very dry and arid, which means a lot of dust. Interesting area.

Go and breath the air, take in the huge vistas and incredible beauty. One of the last great wild spaces. Respect it and the animals, and know you are one of very few who can say you've been to Tsavo.

Tsavo East National Park has the most amazing terrain and changes frequently as you drive from one side to the next with the soil changing colour from light brown to a rich red colour and that is why the 5000 plus elephants are known as the Red Sand Elephants . I finally got to see the biggest bull elephants I... More

Tsavo is a huge park which isn't always your friend in a van on a dusty road. Not as much game density as Maasai Mara or Ambolesi. But still there will be things you see here that are unique. If you're going to Mombasa it's worth the stop for a day otherwise a long drive out and back and the... More

This is such a huge park with so much to offer. We spent 7 days here in May of 2014. We are so glad we decided to spend more time in this park. In 7 days of game drives we only crossed paths with one other truck. The animals are more leery of vehicles but our driver was Francis from... More
