So where do we go on this tour?Lawrence Spring: The view across the Wadi from here is legendary!Khazali Canyon: This canyon with many ancient inscriptions inside, once used by the local Bedouin to rest in the shade, especially in the hot summer.Red Sand Dunes: Anfishieh Inscriptions, Burdah Arch, House of Lawrence, Um Frouth Arch (for some scrambling), and a Special place in a remote corner with a wonderful view across from the red desert to the white desert. This is a good place to relax a little and just take in the splendour of Wadi Rum. You then return to a camp for the night or to Rum Village for your onward journey. « less

We just returned from a 35 day cruise of Asia. One of our ports I really enjoyed was Jordan. We were lucky to have found Memphis Tours through tripadvisor and we were not disappointed! Our guide Audi was fabulous!!! I would recommend him any day! He was so knowledgeable and we learned so much! Our tour was Petra/Wadi Rum and... More

Wadi Rum is, in my opinion, definitely number one attraction in Jordan. It is a must see for everyone! I have travelled to Wadi Rum with a friend and we had an amazing experience, not only due to the gorgeous landscape but also due to our tour guides. Being a tourist you can get all kinds of guides and we... More

A friend who lives in Jordan arranged an overnight stay in a Bedouin Camp (Sunset Camp) which was just brilliant. Hair raising night drive across desert in pitch black in a Landcruiser that last passed its MOT 10 yrs ago, a fabulous local meal cooked over a live fire in the candle lit refractory tent meeting our visitors (v cosmopolitan... We are a family of 4 (2 parents and 2 grown up daughters) from Italy and had a great time in Wadi Rum with Saleh and hs family (www.wadirumtours.com). The landscape is amazing and Saleh, his brother and his wife made our stay unforgettable; the jeep tour, some hiking, "snow-boarding" on the sand dunes, the camel tour, the colour of... More

My friend and I had planned to stay overnight in Wadi Rum, but amazingly there was a hard rain in Petra (which meant snow in the mountains) and we were only able to do a daytime visit in Wadi Rum. We opted for a jeep tour with our guide, Suleman Abu Musalam (rumguide@gmail.com), whose family all work in Wadi Rum... More

Be sure to book your jeep tour inside the complex and not get hooked by anyone in the parking lot if you want to save a bit of money. If you want a vehicle with a cover from the sun then the guys in the parking lot are the way to go. The views itself are amazing and should be... More

A must see attraction in Jordan where the colour of sand changes depending on the sun's position and intensity of sunlight. The local Beduione people are simple, friendly and helping. The landscape was used in a number of Holiwood movies like " Lawrence of Arabia", "Red Planet" and many more. We were unfortunate in that we stayed only for 2... More
