You must visit this on your trip to Jordan. It brings you back to basics and experience Bedouin life. Make sure you have a woodfire lunch in the desert

Not much to add so just a tip. Go with Bedouin Directions. They are worth every penny and deliver as promised. Their camp is the best one we have found and the jeep was practically new. Enjoy the place, I haven't seen anything like it before.

A lot of fascinating sights and a wonderful feeling of isolation. Beautifully untouched and natural.

We took a 4-hour jeep ride from our accommodation at Bait Ali Camp. The landscape here is fairly uniform; different hues of brown and red. The sand dunes are made of fine red sand and it's a workout climbing up and sliding down. Beautiful inscriptions can be seen at one of the valleys. Other sights include the bridge, Lawrence's house... More

A magnificent, expansive natural wonder. A must see if you are visiting Jordan. Spend the night, visit with the Bedouin, watch the sunrise and sunset.

This was my favorite spot in Jordan. I was there only for a day, hiking up sand dunes and running down, exploring canyons, etc. I would definitely go camping there next time with a Bedouin guide as it would be a tremendous place to watch the sunrise and sunset. The food made by the Bedouin guide we had was amazingly... More

Wadi Rum is where they shot the recent movie "The Martian"...just because it does look like Mars' landscape. Make sure you hike around, don't stick to the car only. Walk through rock formation and experience and endless echo when you scream!! We had a flat tire right there and that was actually the best thing that could happen cause I... More

Jordan's desert is, in a word, majestic! It has somehow a lunar-like landscape and that's why locals call it Wadi Rum - known as the Valley of the Moon. Love destroy surroundings, it gives so much peace, so much room for thoughts and appreciation of nature. Totally amazing. If you can, book a group trip staying overnight on the dessert.... More

went here as part of a tour of jordan. Loved the place, it is amazing. the camel ride here was great fun as well. Locals are friendly and helpful. I was lucky enough to spend the night in the luxury camp here and it was well worth it.

We booked half day tour with HamedPetra and it was fantastic. The driver showed us the best parts of the desert and some great spots to take photos. He spoke good English. There are no words to describe beauty of the desert. Breathtaking!
