If you're a student of World War I, if you're a student of the Arab Revolt, if you're a student of the Middle East broadly, you must go! And stay overnight in a beit-al-shar (house of hair). Ride a camel for a few hours to really get the feel.

Very unique experience, great scenery and views. Very peaceful and so vast, spent a night under the stars was fantastic. Saw some great wildlife and will definitely go back

Wadi Rum is amazing. The scenery is unbeatable and it easily one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. My husband and I were debating between the jeep tour and the ATV tour. We ended up selecting the ATV tour (I was initially reluctant but I am glad we opted for ATVs). We were able to go as... More

Most definitely my favourite place in all of Jordan. Known as "the valley of the moon" due to its terrain and red sand, it's also a film set for many large Hollywood movies such as Transformers, Last Days on Mars, Prometheus, etc... The nights in the desert are known to be cool in the summer and freezing cold in the... More

Drove up to the visitor centre and a guide was waiting. There is a entrance fee but our guide from Wadi Rum Tours (Saleh) was there and if you negotiate with him before he will include this in the package. After a customary cup of tea in his house we left our car in his front yard with all the... More

A great place to stay in this amazing World Heritage Area of Wadi Rum, The Valley of the Moon. Mr Ali gave us a brilliant trip to see the sites of interest. Highly recommended.

The whole wadi rum area was very under whelming to be honest , we were cranky we had wasted our time including it in our itinerary but you don’t know until you get there ! we were expecting colourful majestic scenery and wide open spaces with features of interest , well that’s what the blurb says in description, what we... Approx 2hr by coach from Aqaba port this is a MUST. En route passing the spectacular Seven Pillars of Wisdom which rise vertically form the arid Jordanian desert for lunch at Captains Camp in Wadi Rum for traditional lunch @ Bedouin encampment in Wadi Rum where it takes little imagination to be transported back 100 years to Lawrances epic Arabian... We stayed in camp Sin City in Wadi Rum on our tour through Jordan. We were the only people there that night, but that didn't stop the chef's from making a HUGE supper for us, or breakfast for that matter!! We had a desert sunset run in a truck that was amazing. I even got to make a sand angel... More
