The landscape is still fresh in my mind...it was awe-inspiring to say the least...mountains of red rock...red sand, dunes, treks, tents , sun-rises and sun sets to die for and a brilliantly clear sky as night falls...hardly any people...Superb!

Two friends of mine and I had a really wonderful and memorable trip in Wadi Rum! The landscape the was absolutely awesome and breath-taking: the stretching desert, the rocky hills, the broad and soothing view... 我和我的两位朋友在Wadi Rum的旅行经历非常美妙、愉快!那里的风景壮丽震撼,令人窒息:绵延的沙漠,雄伟的山丘,广阔的视野……令人心旷神怡! We spent a night in the camp, which was fairly warm and cosy. One can even take shower in the camp area, but... More

Wow, this was easily one of the highlights of our Jordan trip, and I'm quite sure we didn't see Wadi Rum at its best. The weather wasn't roasting, there was a lot of wind, and quite a lot of dust in the atmosphere, but the scenery is absolutely spectacular. We had a 2-hour 4x4 drive in the north-east part of... Normally deserts hold little interest to my wife and me, but Wadi Rum is something completely different. The landscape is surreal. Jeeptours through Wadi Rum take you to sights related to Lawrence of Arabia and with some hard to discern centuries old inscriptions, but they are mostly an excuse to drive you through one of the most beautiful landscapes in... I prefer green scenery with lots of water, but the Wadi Rum desert is quite spectacular. There are huge dunes of red sand, canyons with extremely green trees in the middle of red rocks and sand, and arches and summits that are fun to climb. The site is managed by one large family, so all prices for tours are pretty... More

Wadi Rum is incredible especially if you stay in a good Bedouin Camp. The landscape, desert are are simply incredible. This is on par with Petra its that good. Also during Winter it is practically deserted, great time to go. If you go to Jordan you need to go here. Jeep Tours and Camel Rides are a great way to... More

The landscapes are amazing. We did a 4x4 day with hiking and we did a 2 hours camel. We stayed at Rum Stars Camp which was very nice.

We used www.DesertEcoTours.com for our tours. They're fabulous but pricey. They do take care of everything! Our guide's name is Ali Hilalat. He was a former soldier for the King. He's also very knowledgeable of the area. He took us 4 wheel driving. It's such a vast area. As far as the eye can see. Lots of amazing sandstone formations.... More

Wadi Rum is incredible. Great for hiking, climbing, and photography (which are three of my favorite things). Amazing sunsets and sunrises. Super quiet nights. Great stargazing. Most people stay at a Bedouin camp, and they can seriously range in quality, so I suggest doing some research and talking to other travelers before choosing one. I also suggest bringing lots of...
