Amazing rock formations and dramatic landscapes. Worth getting up and relocating to capture stunning sun rise and sun set. Guides have key routes they take which are all surprisingly close together and there is a bedouin tent selling something at each location. If you are polite and respectful this is not a problem - don't go in if you are... More

Our absolute favorite part of the trip was the Wadi Rum journey. We did an overnight in the desert in a tent with a private guide and it was spectacular. The desert is just magical and hard to explain how and why it became the obvious favorite. you just have to go and experience it. Nothing quite like the vastness... More

The experience of the Safari is beautiful and different from the one we experienced in GCC countries ( Dubai). Sun set is nice to experience there, get your tripods for sunset time-lapse.

I went to Jordan in 2013 for 6 days, it was with an travel agent and was organized which I'm guessing most travelers in Jordan also do. We went to Wadi Rum on the last day and I was really excited about it and wasn't disappointed. We slept in a Bedouin tent area which is the biggest one that hosts... More

Loved the roughed scenery and the feeling of being in the middle of no where. It was a real adventure travelling in the back of the Toyota pick up truck with my family.

And up-close Bedouin culture. Loved all the petroglyphs. Jeep tour was well worth the time and money.

Wadi Rum is home to the Zalabia Bedouin who, working with climbers and trekkers, have made a success of developing eco-adventure tourism, now their main source of income. The area is now one of Jordan's important tourist destinations, and attracts an increasing number of foreign tourists, particularly trekkers and climbers, but also for camel and horse safari or simply day... If you're traveling to Jordan, you should definitely check out the Wadi Rum. It's vast, stark, and nearly uninhabitable. The view are breathtaking and the enormity of the rock clusters impressive. If you're coming from the US, you'll be reminded of Monument Valley. If that doesn't ring a bell, book a trip to northern Arizona for a similar, much closer... More

Wadi Rum is one of the best places you can ever visit. You experience the desert, not the ugly desert but the beautiful desert. Try walking barefoot, talk to bedouins, they will offer you tea (they have the best tea, you won't only want one cup), watch the stars, mediate, run, walk, be crazy! It is a must go!

The desert is beautiful with different coloured sands and tall monolithic rockscapes rising up from the desert floor. It is quiet and peaceful. We took a four by four vehicle ride into the desert, stopping to climb a sand dune, have tea in a Bedouin tent, look at prehistoric etchings and see where Lawrence of Arabia had his headquarters. It... More
