It was my first time at the desert. It has so much life. The diversity of colors at the mountains, sands and plants are beautiful. It was very peaceful. Ride a camel was quite comfortable and give you chance to feel the nice atmosphere of the place. Overnight was a great choice .Had the chance to know a little bit... More

It was only my 2nd desert but I thought it was different. Colours are beautiful, from pink to white, grey, yellow and bege. I was on a tour and we made a few stops, to climb, take pictures, see the camels drawn on the rock and drink tea with the bedouins. It was the best tea in Jordan - with... More

Admittedly this was our first real desert, so I cannot attest to how it compares with the Sahara, etc. I can tell you it is an absolutely beautiful, peaceful place, and it doesn't hurt that we got to see some of the sights that intrigued me when I first watched Lawrence of Arabia (which was partially filmed here). As a... More

Views are fabulous, hard to imagine that desert can be that beautiful. I recommend spending a night, it is extremely relaxing to sleep under the breeze and spend few hours star gazing. Watch out for food or falsely advertised 5 star locations, I would go for the basic and avoid salad when it comes to eating. Many of the businesses... More

It is impressive and I do recommend a visit; but if you've visited other deserts, it probably won't be a particularly unique experience. Do the camel rides. I really enjoyed those. The mountains in this desert are higher than in any other desert, which makes this one different.

This is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Lawrence of Arabia was filmed here. The colors and massiveness of this desert destination are startling to say the least. Had I known this type of place exhausted I would have visited Jordan a long long time ago. I highly recommend staying over night at a tent camp. Food... More

Spent a day there in April. Fantastic rock formations .Felt as if we were on the set of Lawrence of Arabia. We had our own guide which was great as he knew alot about the animal life etc. The four by fours were quite old and quite difficult to climb up and down from especially if some guests were quite... Those big rocks, mountains and the power of nature will amaze you, will make you say wow, really! I've visited a lot of places in Jordan, Wadi rum was the best among any other place in Jordan. Watching a sunset there will take your breath away. A sky lover? looking to see the milky way with your naked eye? Wadi... More
