This is a nice and peaceful place. There are not many attractions in Bintan but this one is a must see.

I didn't know that this temple was on the island so this was a colorful and unexpected surprise! I loved it. The grounds/gardens were well kept and beautiful.

Our day city trip attractions. From gate entrance there are some Buddha statues and a pond on the right side garden. At temple the golden statue smiling Buddha made everybody feel good. At the back of him is a four facing Buddha. The centre is a lady Buddha, guanyin. More ancient God or Buddha statues on both side of the... More

You can see nice Buddha and kwam im statues. Do not forget to take ur selfie picture with Buddha statue. The place is quite far from Tanjung Pinang town. You need to take taxi or hotel tour to reach the place.

Was in Tanjung Pinang for a weekend getaway with friends in 2010. What attracted me is the rural living and sea food. Tanjung Pinang is a very rural area, if one is going to compare with developed city, Tanjung Pinang is not. We found this temple whilst out on ride on our little hire bike, set in extensive grounds it really does look impressive. The temple is very ornate with some beautiful carvings, not only as stand a lines, but as part of the structure such as the pillars. I think this temple is only just beginning and I would not be... We visited the temple last year during our trip to Bintan, Indonesia. It was beautiful. It is quite far from the resort we stayed in, so we visited on our way back to Kuala Lumpur. We went in noon, so its was very hot and sunny, that that helped the photographers. Its a must visit if you are in Bintan.... More

A lot of big statues and the temple was really nice. Although location is quite far from the resort, it's a nice place to drop by. Try to arrange for a tour.
