Beautiful lake especially during the sunrise. Really basic camping area. No decent "toilet" or running water, so be prepared for the worst. But the lake itself is beautiful and made up for it. It was raining most of the afternoon/early evening. Good thing I was prepared for dry pitching my tent (rain cover first). Can be cold and windy. Unfortunately... More

if you want to see the most beautiful lake in east java, I think that is Ranu Kumbolo lake. The very nice place. Very cold and very natural...

I tell you for sure... that is not easy to see this lake... because this lake is hidden on mountains. You need you walk, hiking for 5-6 hours to reach this place.
