The view of the volcano is awesome! Really enjoyed. Not difficult to track and see the sunrise before climbing is the best option! It's is a "must go" in Indonesia!

what makes bromo bromo famous i guess is the greyish desert (sea sand) surrounded by green landscape. it likes alienated zone in the middle of rainforest with an active volcano in it. You'll get stunning views when you at the top. I recommend to come on weekdays since at weekends and national holidays would be really crowded and with a... More

Entry fee to ride a jeep up to the viewpoint to enjoy sunrise over the park is a ridiculous 200,000+ to 300,000+ during weekends, excluding the fees for the jeep or ponies. It is doubly ridiculous when actually you can enjoy the same thing and get a much quieter and more peaceful experience without paying a cent if you are... More

I was there during May this year. Many things have changed since my last visit on 2010. Along the way to Mount Bromo, there are many homestay and great hotels wast built. Good development I though. The sunrise in Penanjakan Hill still incredible. It was the most golden morning in the world for me! But be careful, the freezing temperature... More

Mt. Bromo is a must if you visit java island. Though the price for foreigners is quite expensive, but believe me it will be well worth spent. I suggest you to get a tour package from probolinggo or malang, since the transportation there is really poor and it's gonna be difficult to get the cheap price if you don't speak... More

I like the landscape panorama and the sunrise. but in bromo is very cold so you must prepare a big jacket when you arrive in the view point of the sunrise. i didn't see the real invoice of the entrance ticket for a foreign people and it was very expensive for foreign people.

There are so many local agencies offer you how to enjoy Bromo in easiest way the most popular option is to hire a hard top that will cost you IDR 550.000 (which you can share with few friends,so definetly not expensive) and you will be able to explore 4 of most famous spots in Bromo Penanjakan to see the sunrise,... This was a wonderful trip. We booked a private tour guide who picked us up from Surabaya and drove us to the B&B in Bromo. This was much better than taking the buses available as we had such a short time to make the trip. However, if you have the time, taking public transport is a great idea. It was... More
