The primary jungle, the landscape,the rivers, the flora and fauna as well as the Dayak people. There are actually lots of potential beauties that is not explored yet

Not expecting much from the trekking trip, but glad we did it! Amazing views on the way to the inside Dayak villages. So many things to see and learn from our guide! We visited east Kalimantan last july and used the services of De'Gigant tours to organize a cruise on river Mahakam. Our feedback is mitigated : the tour operator is certainly reliable but no flexibility or empathy from the owner when planning the trip and the rate charged is outrageous for the quality of the boat offered. The nicest beach in Kalimantan Selatan, the beach which will give You a special colour every hours. You can see JAVA SEA directly from Putri Duyung Cottage,Pagatan. Very nice place I suggest You to come...Pls email if You need my information to mariamarsianad@yahoo.com

the mountain is a huge one in south kalimantan where you can find virgin forest that has many kinds of trees,flowers,animals and local tribes ( called " Dayak " ). the mountain also has many clean and stony rivers around where you can raft by using bamboo. this is the experience you will not to forget.

Amazing place. Wonderful people I think the whole time there I was trying to work out how I could move there. What an adventure. You MUST have a small amount of Indonesian to travel there. IOtherwise there are English speaking guides in Banjarmasin who all want to take you there. Frankly the english speaking guides drove us nuts! So we... More
