My wife and I took a 3-day, 2-night cruise on the Mekong Dragon. It went from Cai Be to Can Tho and back. We were warned by one of the "more legitimate" travel agencies that this cruise line didn't measure up to Western standards, but they were so-o wrong. The Mekong Dragon has just 2 cabins, and we lucked out... More

The best trip, wasn't sure what to expect with this but it exceeded all expectations. Trung &the crew were wonderful , very informative, the food was delicious & plentiful. The short trips in the canal boat & walking around the village enabled us to get a good idea of what the people really do & how they live. The accommodation... More

This 3 day / 2 night cruise on the Mekong Eyes was an absolute highlight of our families holiday in Vietnam. The standard of the boat is exceptional, the cabins are spotless, well appointed and the bathrooms just like a hotel. We loved being on the top deck and experiencing a unique insight into life of fishermen and families who... More

Very pleasant to meander the narrow waterways of the Mekong Delta on our own little private boat. There is rather a lot of industry on the main river and habitations continue on the narrow waterways, but also stretches of peaceful countryside with rice paddies and local people paddling canoes or washing veg in the river water. The Gecko Eyes was... More

We have just returned from a trip to Cambodia and Vietnam and the highlight was the Mekong Eyes cruise. Everything was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. The food was first quality, varied and gave you a true experience of all their different flavours. We often photographed the dishes as they are presented like a work of art. The staff were... More

We were very impressed with the Mekong Eyes cruise; we did the 3 day 2 night from Saigon to Phnom Penh - it was traditional elegance within the hustle and bustle of Vietnam and a great way to experience the Mekong culture as life certainly doesn't stop for tourists! Our welcome was very warm, and the safety briefing thorough (without... More

My husband and I did 3D/2N on the Gecko Eyes private boat it was great. We were picked-up by Hep at our hotel and driven by private car to the Delta via an excellent coffee stop. Our boat was clean, luxurious, well equipped and our guide Nam was excellent, as were the other 4 staff members. The trip itself is... More

We did a 4 day / 3 night trip on the Dragon Eyes with our teenage children in January. The Dragon Eyes is the smaller boat - it's only 2 berth - so there was just the 4 of us with 6 staff to look after us. We felt like royalty! The boat is clean and comfortable (I would even... More
