We concur with much of what has been said already. We booked on the cruise on the basis of good reviews last year. To be fair the boats and food are excellent. We had a two night trip, one night on the larger vessel with 20 others and luckily another night by chance on the smaller two berth vessel which... More

Dear MikeyJas, Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the boat and the food! We apologize for the inconvenience of the lack of the shades on the sun deck – we had to remove the shades because of some urgent repairs at the roofing, which has been fixed shortly after your stay. This was... More

We expected the cruise to be one of the highlights of vietnam. The organisation and contact in Germany was very good and helpful. Pick up in HCMC was good and comfortable. But we were a little disappointed about the ship itself. The cabins were okay, but we missed the small details: no seperate AC, the shower was in turns hot... More

Dear adinamuenchen, Good to hear that you liked the organisation and contact in Germany and the service on board! Unfortunately, in November we unexpectedly had to do some repair work on the top deck / sun deck and therefore had to remove the plants, sun shade and sun beds in order to conduct those renovations. We apologize for the inconvenience!... More

The day before our cruise we were sitting in the hotel room and wondering about the value for money of our one night cruise that was coming up. We checked on Trip Advisor and saw a couple of bad reviews, our hearts sunk. So we wrote to Tran at the office. We noted all the points that had been bought... More

We booked a 3 days 2 nights cruise from Saigon to Phnom Penh on the Mekong Eyes vessel, and had the great privilege of being upgraded to the private Dragon Eyes. This was a fantastic journey. Upon boarding in Can Tho we were ushered to the side and were told that we had been upgraded. The crew of Dragon Eyes,... More

Mekong Eyes was not a fancy boat, but it was clean and the food was great (except that they ran out of drinking water on the first night!). The experience was wonderful, though, because of the young and enthusiastic crew, led by Hung, a young man who literally beamed with pride at the opportunity to share the customs and lifestlye... I went on a two days one night cruise with Mekong Eyes. I travelled with my wife. Overall it was an OK experience but the price was FAR to high compared to what was offered. We paid 658 USD and for such money, especially in VietNam, a far more luxurious was expected. The cabin was small, accomodating a queen size... More

Dear Mikael W., Thank you for your comment. I understand that you were happy with the tour but the package is – in your opinion – overpriced. Regarding the food I must say that in terms of food taste it is hard to compete with the street food stalls in Vietnam. Their food is normally really delicious at unbeatable prices.... More

First of all, you need to understand that the departure point for this trip is nearly four hours outside of HCMC, despite the fact that it's touted as being round-trip "from Saigon." This was not a welcome surprise. The boat itself is fine; nothing extravagant or luxurious like other reviews and the promotional literature claim, but clean and pleasant. The... More

We took the 3 day/2night from Can Tho which is a round trip to Cai Be. There are two excursions each day - a walk through a village/rice field (not that great) and floating markets (with Ancient House in Cai Be). Cai Rang floating market - you'll only get that if you're starting from Cai Be or on 3/2 cruise... More

For the high price and expectations, this tour is not what it's cracked up to be. The first day and night were great: AC on bus, the boat was luxurious and the food great (though they don't really understand vegan, so there was some difficulty) we had an interesting visit to a farming village, enjoyed the night sky on the... Dear JoshAustin, First of all thank you for your feed-back. Good to hear that you really enjoyed the first day and night on board and the side trips. We will take up your remark regarding the option of vegan food, which is quite new to Vietnam, and will try to identify dishes that are vegan, yet, if possible, authentic Vietnamese... More

I have to agree with much of what the previous reviewer wrote. We were picked up on time in a nice clean a/c van (tip: if you are tall, ask them to save you a front seat b/c there is absolutely no leg room in some seats). Dragon Eyes is a lovely boat – comfy beds, super hot water, and... More
